My home and other homes where I feel most at ease hove one thing in common: warmth. Here, I'd like to share images of my home and some of the products that have helped it to feel comforting while also being ready to host a large family gathering. I especially enjoy simple, modern, and sweet decor, and curating a style that is unique to my own stage in life and what brings me enjoyment and comfort. I hope you'll find inspiration to do the same.
Bright and Airy Living Room
Shoe Cabinet styled with decor in hallway
Entryway table styled with vases and faux eucalyptus on the left and real christmas cactus and lantern on the right.
This console table is perfect for our space. My daughter loves to leave her shoes and jacket on the low shelf when we get back from a walk (at least it isn't on the floor). I haven't found the right wall hangings for the entry way yet so I find myself trying out different things every couple of months. On the table, I have an antique-looking vase with faux eucalyptus in it, as well as another white vase (love this set of 3), a real cactus plant and a lantern. This space is still very unfinished but I enjoy the process of developing and glad you are here to join me.
These are images of our old home in Seattle, WA including exterior, living spaces, kitchen, bathrooms, primary suite, and exercise space. We loved getting to do DIY projects and decorate this space in the short time we lived there. We saw a transformation and felt the warmth that came with turning that house into a home. If you see any furniture or decor that you'd like a link for, please reach out via instagram (account linked below).
We are now hoping to carry that spirit of balancing bright spaces with cozy warmth for our place in Colorado. We are so glad to have you join us for that journey.
Our new home in Denver is full of rich, warm wood tones so we are going for a warmer, neutral color pallette (though eventually I would love to update these counters to a lighter quartz option). I may even stain the cabinets a little darker (perhaps walnut) when I do that.
It takes time to build a cozy, layered, inviting space but we are working toward accomplishing that while keeping spaces functional and of course we don't want to feel like we are just collecting clutter.
This coffee corner is one little nook that we use daily and it brings us lots of joy. (Our extensive and eclectic mug collection is safely tucked in the cabinet and we only display 2-4 mugs at a time depending on the season.
