Bonnie Hasson (she/her)

With 25 years of teaching experience, Bonnie has designed curriculum that speaks to children, teachers and  families.  She has trained in early childhood education, mindfulness, organic farming, Waldorf Education, mental health, inclusion, second language learners, Orff, yoga, puppetry, clay, environmental studies, composting and student assessment tools.

 Bonnie has two BA degrees from the University of California Santa Cruz in Economics and Environmental Studies as well as a certificate in Ecological Horticulture. Bonnie has a child development site supervisor level teaching permit.

 Bonnie has taught children from infancy through the teen years.  She loves fostering a connection to nature, curiosity, kindness and creativity. She recently ran the all outdoor Wildflower Play-School program in Sunnyvale, California and is excited start her next adventure!

Bonnie has completed yoga certification to lead mat and aerial classes for adults, children and families.  She enjoys having her own personal yoga practice as well as designing classes for families, individuals and groups. She currently teaches privately and at Jiaren Yoga Studio.

Bonnie lives in San Jose with her partner and has two wonderful adult children that she enjoys spending time with.  She likes to walk on the beach, practice yoga, garden, tell stories at the Moth, hike, meditate and cook.
