One of our main projects is to engage in fire protection methods. We have partnered with 805 Goats and hope to partner with Rancho Simi Recreation and Parks District. We have fundraised to fund a goat-brush clearance of public land in Oak Park. This creates a larger buffer area and reduces the fuel of the fire. With a larger fire break, this gives firefighters greater time to get to the scene and save structures. We will focus on clearing invasive species like mustard seed plants, the dry, six-foot tall weeds on local hills.
