With the support of the Wilderness Medical Society, we are proud to provide Free FAWM credits to resident physicians, physician fellows, and students in any healthcare field. Eligible participants can earn 1 free FAWM credit for each session attended. Eligibility is dependent on status as a Resident, Physician Fellow, or Student in a healthcare field. You must attend at least 1 hour of a session to be eligible for that session's FAWM credit. At the end of each 6 month block, participation is reviewed, and FAWM certificates are drafted accordingly. Certificates are then emailed to eligible participants, typically in January and July of each year. Only current candidates of the Wilderness Medical Society's FAWM program can submit these certificates for credit. If you are not currently a FAWM candidate, these certificates can be submitted retroactively, once you begin the FAWM program.
Submitting your FAWM Certificates: When you receive your FAWM certificate, you can submit these to Gabi Glass, at Gabi@wms.org. Gabi will then add each session that you have attended to your FAWM Activity Report. You may then claim these credits via the Report My Credits tab (on the WMS FAWM Page). You can become a FAWM candidate and access your activity report by clicking the link below.
This course has been approved for Free Fellowship in the Academy of Wilderness Medicine (FAWM) credits through the Wilderness Medical Society. Actual credits awarded depend on personal credit needs and history. FAWM credit is only available for residents and students in healthcare fields who participate in this virtual journal club series. You must be a WMS FAWM candidate to be eligible to submit the certificates for FAWM credit.

Please join us in thanking Gabi Glass, CMP, Director of Winter Conference & FAWM of the WMS. She has supported this program since its inception. She has helped with approval of the program's FAWM credits and with submission of participant's FAWM certificates. She has also uploaded the recordings of each journal club session and created our recording playlist on the WMS Youtube channel.
