Named in honor of my first Walkaloosa, Joker's Wild Streak, Wild Card Walkaloosas was born out of the love of both gaited horses and Appaloosas.
Named in honor of my first Walkaloosa, Joker's Wild Streak, Wild Card Walkaloosas was born out of the love of both gaited horses and Appaloosas.
Imagine my delight when I found out that others also desired and saw the value in a spotted, gaited equine!
Don't let the name Wild Card scare you off, the only wild thing about our horses are their colors.

Our stable colors are black and red, after the horses who started it all. Joker my red walkaloosa and Kismet my black walkaloosa.
There's nothing wrong with wanting it all!

And that is the goal of my program, the total package: an athletic, beautiful, friendly horse that can take their owner in almost any direction.
My passions are endurance and western dressage. This directly influences my program as when and if I keep the horses I breed I want to enjoy them in my chosen sports.
These are also sports that bring out some of my favorite attributes of horses: soundness, sensibility, cooperation, and determination.
While the average owner is not going out and riding 50 miles regularly, having a horse that could will only set you up for success as you enjoy a sound, brave, and willing partner.
