Who We Are

Amy Guldan, leader

I love helping children discover the beauty of the outdoors and nurturing their curiosity through play. I have a bachelor's degree in early childhood and elementary education, and have 12 years experience teaching in various forms. I have loved teaching Tinkergarten for the past 15 months, and I'm excited for where this new venture might lead!

When I'm not teaching, you can find me hanging with my husband, 5 and 7 year old, hiking, camping, skiing, and finishing building our house!

Vision

To provide opportunities for child-led, outdoor play to every child in the Ark Valley area. We want to help grow childrens' roots by embracing the 'wild' and nature. So many fundamental skills can be learned through play and exploration.

Mission

Wild Roots's mission is to provide a variety of parent accompanied and child only programs that nurture children's natural desires to explore, create, discover, and learn, all through playing in the outdoors.
