Swim Season

Practices

Our typical swim season starts from the first Tuesday after Memorial Day and continues through five Saturday meets.

Practices are Monday through Friday. There will be no practice if there is lightning. 

Practice schedule:

UPDATE: Wilber Pool is not opening this year until June 1st.
We will practice in Beatrice four times in the two weeks before the meet.

• May 18, 2026 5:30-6:45 at the Beatrice YMCA

• May 20, 2026 5:30-6:45 at the Beatrice YMCA

• May 26, 2026 12:00-1:30 at the Beatrice YMCA

• May 28, 2026 5:30-6:45 at the Beatrice YMCA

 
Dryland workouts are still TBD.

Attendance

Attendance will be captured via TeamSnap. Please update your child's attendance for practices and meets.
Meets need to be updated by the Sunday before the following Saturday meet. This allows Coach Scott to know who to sign up for relays and who to ask on Monday what they want events they want to participate in.

Meets

Meets are on Saturdays starting at 9:00 AM.

Swimmers need to arrive by and be ready for warm-ups by 8:00 AM, unless told otherwise.

The last swim meet is the Champions Meet. Swimmers need to compete in at least two swim meets during the season to compete at Champs.

Full meets usually get over after 3 pm. Half meets usually get over around 1 pm.

June 13 - Fairbury (yard pool) - Full Meet

June 20 - Concordia (meter pool) - Half Meet
