Are you having problems with PvE content like Timeless Trial? Low on rune stones? Let me introduce you to Sonya, the ultimate destroyer, the #1 dmg dealer in Langrisser mobile. This is an update article of a post back in May when heart bond are not out yet. With her updated talent and heart bond, Sonya became even stronger.
Overall Sonya is a quite unique character with her classes being versatile. As a result her skills are also versatile and offer immense variety in PvE. U don' t have Leon, Altemuller, Tiaris and Liana? Lemme introduce Ultimate support destroyer Sonya. We go in depth later on. Demon blood offers 20% stackeable buff after a kill. Your attack, int, def and mdef will all be raised by 20%. It last 3 turns. This also applies to your troops. A well build Sonya should never have trouble finding the first kill as you have a range of 9, 8 movement + 1 attack range. Her heart bond is by far the most strongest heart bond. In my previous post people were pointing out Leon can' t be weaker than Sonya because Epic Knight is strong talent. Guess what Sonya got for Heart bond? A similar version of Epic Knight. For every tile walked damage is increased by 3% and damage taken is decreased by 3%.
As how the buff works you can' t leave a rekted Sonya alive. Even if she just killed your healer and can' t move next turn. You have to kill her now. A 3k hp Sonya will still kill your mage or ranged without damage reduction and run away and laugh with another +20% raise on all stats. If her vampire survived she even healed herself.
Sonya have the neccessary attack skills and from her unicorn class she gets support skills. And the most OP skill on this beast is of course the ninjutsu. This synergise maximum with rest of her skills. She gets only one tier of assassin class and she gets to most OP assassin skill at 1 point. Ninjutsu raise stackeable attack % def to max 30% and also lets you walk on water! What can we wish more? The ability to fly i guess, but this isn't provided by ninjutsu. Rest of her skills are: 1 points skills: Blast, bloodbath, attack break 2 points skills: Assault, rout, attack support, mass protect, strike.
In general the 1 runestone for ninjutsu is a must, the unicorn tree doesn't offer attack stats. At 1 runestone Sonya is at 95% of her capability. The last 5% i would only suggest if you haven' t build Leon, Altemuller and Tiaris. As it offers you kind of a version with traits of all those 3 in one hero. My most used combination for pve is: Ninjutsu, attack support, assualt. When ninjutsu is useless I replace for bloodbath. Assualt is a must most of time for +lvl 70 challenges. Attack support can be replaced with rout if you don' t use other dps around.
Ninjutsu, strike, assualt is the most common one. And second option is when you need rout you switch for assault. If you have more dps around with long range you can consider, attack support. For synergies with Emmerick, attack support + rout is viable also. Her role is changed then.
Due to her talents and as I made her before the updates my Sonya and what I think is optimal are different. I ran her mainly with bloodbath where possible pve so I ended with 5%+5% red enchants. Reason is I had frostrend at +15% like day 2 from silver enchant. Also the extra 5%+ uncondionally is buffed also from her talents. So technically you receive a 90% over the 5% in pve. Whereas full moon miss the extra buff from its value Full moon is also an option for adding another 10% on her useable stats. Rough sea and breeze you can' t go wrong also. If you gear rout, clock is even considerable. Overall there is no real bis in her enchants used. For value there i believe there is a list to follow. More important is what I believe you should roll as stats. #1 attack #2 MDEF #3 DEF #4 HP This s what i would do if I would build Sonya now. See later on that she doesn't necessary needs hps or def. If you can roll some good mdef, reaching 700 mdef with buffs is manageable. Don' t forget her troops buff her mdef too after kill. And also her mdef and def base are similar. The more reason to roll mdef. In PVP it means she has a chance to survive magic based attacks. Also based on how you build her the extra mdef can come handy.
Unique weapon Arcane battle garb for fixed dmg and kill those pesky units left at 500hp. It is important to get the kill. For helm there is not necessary a bis for her. For accessory I personally roll overlord due to her build. Going full attack accessory works too. Troop selection We are looking at 2 options seriously: Vampire bats or bone dino. Vampire bats for general purpose and if your enemy has one ranged only. Bone dino if you need extra attack power and enemy have tons of ranged heroes.
