What class to use? Koubu

Why? (Thanks to blackkat101 from Reddit on this whole section)

Alice Class stats

Yup, Built in Boots, more HP/INT/DEF/SKILL in her Koubu class. The only thing is that she's no longer a Holy class, with their bonus against demons.

Here are her Heart Bond Bonuses.

Dream Kiss (Holy)

  • Level 4: If unit HP is less than 50%, reduces damage taken by 10%.
  • Level 7: When attacking and entering battle, damage dealt by soldiers increased by 20%.

Iris Koubu (Mage)

  • Level 4: When unit HP is above 80%, 10% less likely to receive critical damage.
  • Level 7: When attacking and entering battle, damage dealt is increased by 10%.

Level 4 Effect is better for the Koubu, since you just need to keep her healthy. You don't really want her to drop below half HP. Both Level 7 skills are good, though that soldier increase from the Dream Kiss is great, since her soldiers will do most of her damage. In the end, the Koubu one is good enough and she normally won't be attacking anyway.

So-Yay for Koubu!

Movement is listed as such because it is a special type of movement. Even though she is a Mage (and the other Sakrua collab heroes are Cavalry) class, her Koubu (and all other Sakura Collab heroes' Koubu) have special movement. They move like infantry over terrain despite being cavalry/mage, as if they are infantry with built in boots. Apperently, even if any of the Sakura Collab heroes use soldiers on horses, while in their Koubu class, they will still have the special infantry type movement over terrain. Which is nice.

Equipment Selection

Weapons: Goddess left hand> other SSR healing wand (with + 15% healing effect) > Red moon > Blue moon

Armor: Tennyo's robe > Galaxy Cloak > Other SSR armor

Headgear: Tennyo's headdress (offensive style) = Yggdrasil Wreath (defensive style) > otehr ssr head gear

Accessory: Goddess tear (defensive style)) = Teddy Bear (will be released in equipment summon soon, offensive style))> Crystal ball / Holy ring / Bracer Emblem

Enchantment

Crystal >> Full moon (Recommend you to go for healing weapon and accessory, which means effect has +heal %, or you could not have sufficient heal) >> others ( just don't use any other enchant on her).

Most higher-level PVP players use crystal because they find the full moon's heal is usually not sufficient. In the ancient call, full moon's heal is not going to be sufficient, so crystal is a must.

Skill selection

Le Jardin's Iris (iris burst) + heal (or shield) + massheal/massresist/ Dolly (more common in ancient call)

Troop selection

Holy knight ( Ancient Call) or Bolt ranger (PVP) or Sorceress (Iris' damage mostly comes from her sorceress, even if you use full moon build).

How to use her?

  1. Rush team in APEX, couple with Leonhardt, Joshua and other strong AoE damage dealer. Le Jardin's Iris is the key in this case. With other high mobility characters (e.g. Angelina, Varna, Leticia) you can rush your enemy easily. You can either set up turn 1, and rush tun 2, or directly rush turn 1, or take advantage of the end of turn 1 and beginning of turn 2 (e.g. iris teleport Joshua, then Leonhardt teleport himself, Varna come up and buff these two. At end of turn 1, Joshua use AOE. At the beginning of turn 2, Leonhardt and varna follow up AOEs).
  2. Couple with Jugler. Teleport Jugler so his beast shock can disable the ability of the enemy of your choice.
  3. Couple with the Empire faction team to do slow-push. Ideally, you would have Bern, Leonharte/Sakura, and varna in your team. You don't have to rush, just wait for the best timing.
  4. Ancient call Sleipnir (need to carry skill 'Dolly')
