-The Alchemy Table-
The Alchemy Table is the basis of all Alchemy. With it, you can imbue items with special properties, called Imbuements.Â
For it to function, it needs to be surrounded by Tin Vessels on all cardinal directions, which will hold components for an alchemical ritual.
-Tin Vessels-
Tin Vessels are used to store components for a ritual. As you'll see in the next section, their use in a ritual depends on their cardinal direction relative to the Alchemy Table.
Often, after a ritual, a Tin Vessel will crack from the force of the ritual. Using a Tin Ingot on it will repair it, but until then, it cannot be used.
-Mundane Items-
Some items, no matter how hard you try, cannot be imbued. Iron, Chainmail, Steel, and Netherite are all incapable of being imbued, due to strong, anti-magical properties built into their very makeup.
-Cardinal Directions and Their Uses-
In the Alchemy System, Tin Vessels have different uses in a ritual depending on their cardinal direction relative to the Alchemy Table.
North
Security for the Ritual, to ensure nothing goes wrong. Usually a biological item.
South
Material cost for the ritual. A minimum of 16 is required. Increasing the item count increases the Enchantment level.
East
Intent for the ritual, helps inform what the imbuement will be.
West
Connection for the ritual, some item that allows imbuement. Usually Diamonds, but Nether Stars are required for the highest level.
