Channels Setup
Channels view shows the apps and games installed on your Wii's nand or a emu nand that you have created. Channels are basically what you see on the Wii's system menu. With WiiFlow the channels are shown as dvd covers you download from GameTDB.com. Channels view is best with a emu NAND.
What is a emu NAND?
Emu NAND is short for Emulated NAND. NAND is the Wii's internal memory used for system settings, game saves, and the system menu channels for launching virtual console and wiiware games. Channels can be installed on your Wii's real nand but the Wii's internal memory is a tiny 512MB and you'll soon run out of space. A emu NAND is a Wii's NAND copied to a SD card or HDD. With an emu NAND you can install as many channels as your storage device (SD or HDD) has space for, which is usually way more than 512MB. You can also use it for your Wii game's save files in case you run out of space on your Wii or just want to save space on your Wii.
