Why Triathlons? I like versatility. I love all three sports individually, and I have a passion for competition. When I found out I could do all three in the same competition, it was only natural for me to fall in love with the sport.

Why coaching? After falling in love with competition, I had hardships like any athletes would. My coaches were phenomenal and knew exactly where I needed to push myself and they could analyze where I needed to improve with an outside eye. After being privileged enough to compete at an elite level, I wanted to add to my resume. Though I continue to compete at a high level, my goal is to help other athletes achieve their highest level of competition too.
Proudest coach moment? When one of my first WR athletes competed in her first triathlon and won her age division, and another WR athlete competed in and finished her very first triathlon, never being an athlete before... both in the same season!
Toughest moment as an athlete: Park to Park, 2018. It was a day that as an athlete I mentally was not there. I ended up not finishing, tacking on my only DNF to my race resume.
Parting words: You never know what you are capable of until you push yourself. Take calculated risks to determine where your limits lie. I'm not one for philosophy, but I'm always happy to learn, coach and compete alongside with you.

Why Running? Running is the simplest form of competition and the greatest way to stay in shape. I love running because it forces me push myself to improve and find out what I’m made of.

Why coaching? I want to pass along my love of running to other runners. I want to help them not only achieve their goals, but also learn to enjoy the process.
Toughest moment as an athlete: Being the 1st man out of D2 nationals for the 10,000m my senior year in 2017.
Parting words: Don’t worry about what others think you can do, believe in yourself no matter what.

Why Running? I transitioned from college basketball player to runner in graduate school as a way to stay fit and relieve stress. Needless to say, I got hooked! I have kept running because I love chasing after new goals and have met many great people through the sport.

Why coaching? I enjoy studying training plans and developing personal plans to help people achieve their goals.
Toughest moment as an athlete: Dealing with injury. This is part of the reason I started studying training plans and developing my own personal plan to get the most out of my training.
