Education
I received a Bachelor of Arts in Linguistics in 2015 from the Goethe University Frankfurt am Main and completed my Master of Arts in the programme “Language and Communication” at the University of Mannheim in 2018. My Master’s thesis was written in affiliation with the DFG-project “Borrowing of Argument Structure in Contact Situations” (BASICS) and dealt with a possible language-contact approach to the rise of the to-dative in Middle English.
Since February 2019 I am a PhD student in English linguistics under the supervision of Prof. Carola Trips. Read more about my research „On the Integration of Scandinavian Loan Verbs into Medieval English“ here. Between 2020 and 2022 I held a doctoral scholarship from the Evangelische Studienwerk e.V..
