UNITED KINGDOM,
OCT 2025-PRESENT
I didn’t expect that volunteering as a tutor with Action Tutoring in the UK would mean so much to me. Supporting children from disadvantaged backgrounds—showing up consistently, both in person and now online—and watching their confidence grow over time has been incredibly grounding.
This experience keeps reminding me that learning isn’t just about academics; it’s about being present, building trust, and making students feel seen and supported. Even now, continuing to teach online, it remains one of those quiet but deeply meaningful parts of my journey in education. 💛
UNITED KINGDOM, SEP-DEC 2025
Stepping into classrooms as a Cover Supervisor and Teaching Assistant in SEN and secondary schools across the UK taught me that no two days—and no two learners—are ever the same. Every class came with its own rhythm, challenges, and small breakthroughs.
Working closely with students with diverse needs pushed me to listen more, adapt faster, and lead with patience and empathy. It wasn’t just about managing lessons or supporting teachers, but about creating a space where students felt safe, understood, and capable. An experience that quietly strengthened both my teaching practice and my humanity.

I never expected to become a Teaching Assistant at the university, and honestly, it turned out to be one of the most memorable experiences of my life. I was so lucky to work with such a wonderful and supportive team — they were kind, funny, and always willing to cooperate. Being a TA taught me how important clear communication and shared goals are to make any learning process and project truly successful. At the end of the program, my students even sent me the sweetest message on Instagram — it honestly felt like a little love bomb. What an experience to remember! 💛
Never imagined that I could become a Head of Science Department. Being the youngest, yet needing to lead mostly senior teachers, was a challenge for me. Starting with evaluating the problems they found in the classroom, arranging the laboratory schedule, and making sure that teachers achieve learning outcomes is also important. The STEM competition is one of the great events held by the Science Department, also known as Science Week. There are several competitions such as the science olympiad, water rocket competition, spelling Pi, and many. From this experience, I learnt that leadership skills, project management, communications, and teamwork are essential to build a solid science departement.
