  • I don't identify as a woman. Can I still attend WiCV?

Yes, all genders are welcome to attend! Note however, all speakers and poster presenters will be people who identify as women, as our goal is to promote women in computer vision.

  • Does attending WiCV require registering for ECCV?

Yes. WiCV is a ECCV workshop, so your registration for it is handled via the ECCV website. Make sure your ECCV registration includes workshops.

  • Can anyone attend the virtual poster session and the talks at the WiCV workshop?

Yes! The virtual poster session and the talks are open to all ECCV attendees.

  • Does a WiCV accepted paper count as publication?

No, this year's workshop will NOT offer the opportunity to publish accepted papers as workshop proceedings.

  • Can I submit a recently published paper to WiCV?

WiCV accepts submissions of previously published works (including those accepted to ECCV 2020), but only as extended abstracts for poster presentation. You can submit the published paper adapted to follow our submission guideline (paper length and template) and let us know that it is a published work.

  • Is it still possible to submit a paper after the deadline?

Unfortunately, no. You can stay in touch with us for future events and follow the updates of our workshop via our facebook page or twitter.

  • I don’t have a paper, can I receive a registration grant?

No, we are able to give registration grants based on submitted papers.

  • I already received a travel/registration grant from previous year's WiCV workshop, can I apply again?

Yes, but we give lower priority to last year's attendees who received a travel grant.

  • If I'm awarded a registration grant but I don’t attend the workshop, can I receive the grant?

No, you must attend the workshop in order to receive a registration grant.

  • I have two first-author submissions accepted to WiCV 2020. Can I be reimbursed for both of them?

Unfortunately, although you have two accepted papers, we only provide one registration grant per person.

  • How can I connect with women in the computer vision community?

Yes, join our facebook group or stay updated on twitter to get updates regarding the workshop and women in computer vision community.

  • I have a question that is not answered here. How can I reach you?

  • Will attendees without accepted papers at WiCV be able to engage in all sessions (including mentoring sessions and dinners)?

Everybody is welcome to take part in the WiCV workshop, however dinner and mentoring session are only for participants with accepted papers.
