Raid Schedule
Prog Team: Tues and Thurs 7pm-9pm MST
Optional: Normal Friday 7-9 MST
Heroic runs will open up to those not on the Prog Team after the team has AOTC.
Rare drops and specialized items will be reserved for Prog Team members.
Raid Rules and Expectations
Our goal is to promote a fun yet progressive environment.
We have historically been an AOTC focused guild, with attempts at Mythic when we have the roster for it along with situational awareness and mechanical aptitude.
In The War Within, our intentions are to promote a Mythic raiding environment.
ANY belittling or snarky comments directed towards others will not be tolerated.
All Guild Rules are applicable during raid.
While we do our best, all of us are human, if something happens during raid that you disagree with or want to discuss further, please reach out to an officer or use the #open-a-ticket sytem.
If during raid, you have an emergency come up and need to drop, message an officer. Real life comes first, and we don't hold this against anyone.
Those already in guild interested in joining raids should fill out the corresponding form(s) in #raiding-forms.
New raiders in the guild are expected to run Normal before participating in Heroic.
(An exception to this can be made if the raider can submit evidence of experience (ex. logs))
Listed in the sections below are the expectations we have for our raiders:
All guild raid events will be posted in the #calendar channel in discord.
Heroic and Normal: Raid-Helper Events
Raiders are expected to sign up on each event.
The bot will have a pop-up for Tentative/Absent/Late, please reply to the bot with your reason, this will only be seen by officers.
(you do NOT have to go into personal details - "personal reasons", "class", "work", etc are all acceptable examples.)
No sign up = your spot will not be reserved.
Mythic: wowaudit events
Due to the limit of 20 raiders, Mythic comp is pre-determined.
Those on the Prog Team will automatically show as attending. Raiders must mark themselves as absent as applicable.
Those "in" or "bench" on each fight will be viewable on the wowaudit event's embedded image.
Any "in" raiders who mark themselves as absent will be substituted by a raider on the bench for that night.
No shows with no prior notification:
First offense: will give up their raid spot for the next four Prog Raid nights.
Second offense: will be on the bench for the remainder of the season.
Third offense: removed from the raid team.
Emergencies are an exception and will be discussed by officers on a case-by-case basis.
We request regular attendance: >75% for Heroic, >85% for Mythic.
Invites to raid begin 15 minutes before start time.
There will be an "attendance score" on prog nights beginning in Heroic, based on calendar sign up and actual attendance.
If you're late (without being noted on the calendar or notifying an officer):
Heroic: you will be invited to raid when you've made it to the entrance if there is room.
Mythic: your spot will be given to someone who had been allocated for bench that night.
We do ask everyone's understanding that some bosses require certain team compositions.
Prog Raiders are subject to demotion to Raiders for not following guidelines or missing a week of raids with no notifications.
Raiders are subject to demotion to Members for missing 2 weeks of raids with no notifications.
We try to be thoughtful and appreciative of all players' time, please reach out to an officer if you need to discuss attendance issues.
Raiders are expected to meet the minimum ilvl and any other specifics set in each #calendar event.
Flasks and food will be provided by the guild at the beginning of raid and after wipes.
Enchants, gems, and oils/stones are provided in the Guild Bank. Do NOT come to raid missing these when they are freely provided.
Each week, Heroic Raiders are expected to unlock at least 1 additional non-raid Great Vault slot via M+ or 8+ delves.
Each week, Prog Raiders expectations are as follows:
First 4 weeks of raid tier: Unlock at least 3 additional non-raid Great Vault slots via M+ or 8+ delves.
Second 4 weeks of raid tier: Unlock at least 2 additional non-raid Great Vault slots via M+.
After 8 weeks of raid tier: Unlock at least 1 additional non-raid Great Vault slot via M+.
Ninja looting is not tolerated under any circumstance. Any raider caught will be removed from the raid and be sat for the current and following week's raid.
Main spec = the class/spec given in the raider app in discord and spec played during boss fights.
Off spec = spec your class can play but not played during boss fights.
If officers asked someone to change spec for a raid, that raider may roll need for their usual spec and the spec they play that raid.
Priority for specialty items (trinkets/on-use weapons/etc.) is still given to main healers/tanks if they need them.
Each raider must ensure they have their loot spec set to their current role. Main rolling an off-spec piece will be considered ninja looting.
Normal and Heroic: NBG Group Loot
Roll Expectations:
Item level upgrades before sidesgrades.
Stat changes and items < 6 ilvl difference count as sidegrades.
If an item can be upgraded higher than the currently equipped item and when fully upgraded is > 6 ilvl difference, it counts as an upgrade.
If you win a non-tier item and you plan on rolling for that corresponding tier during the raid, do not equip the non-tier item until after raid.
If tier is won after a non-tier piece was won, the non-tier piece is to be traded to the 2nd place roll.
Getting all raiders 4 set is a high priority for the team.
Ex) If Raider A has Normal tier shoulders, Raider B has no tier shoulders, and the Heroic tier shoulder token drops:
Team preference is that Raider B receives the tier piece.
Raiders without 4 set should continue running Normal for further tier chances for this to be an applicable/fair rule.
Any raider known to not put in work outside of guild raids will be lower on loot priority.
Rolling:
Roll "Need" if the item is an upgrade for your Main spec.
Main spec gear shows up on your loot table in the adventure guide.
If you win a "need" roll on an item, in support of the entire team we ask that you not need for that item slot again until next raid reset.
Tier pieces are an exception as long as the above regarding equipping pieces is followed.
Roll "Greed" for Off spec.
Off spec meaning it is an item your class can use.
If it is a "greed" roll for disenchanting, YOU MUST CHECK on who else rolled that could actually use that item.
DEing is lowest priority for green rolls (Off spec > DE)
Roll "Transmog" if you want the appearance.
Mythic
See Loot Council.
Prog Raiders will be swapped in/out on farm re-kills based on loot needs.
Normal and Heroic | Not required to run with the guild, but highly recommended:

Mythic | The following are required for the Prog Team:

Raiders interested in joining the Mythic Prog Team will undergo a Trial Period.
Trials will last for a minimum of 2 weeks and up to 4 weeks during an active season.
This time will be used to ensure it's a good fit for both the Prog Team and the Trial.
Current Prog Raiders are encouraged to provide feedback on Trials.
Passed Trials:
Will be notified by an officer and offered a spot on the Prog Team.
Are expected to join the guild.
Must agree to adhere to guild and raiding rules.
Failed Trials:
Will be notified by an officer with reason(s) for the fail.
Can occur at any point during the Trial Period.
Everyone meeting the event requirements is welcome to join Normal and Heroic raid.
However, continuous underperforming is unfair to the team. Effort needs to be shown for self-improvement from underperformers.
We realize everyone can have an off day or dps/heals may be lower due to learning new bosses.
If we get to a boss where the team is struggling and hitting a continuous wall, officers reserve the right to ask lower performers to sit out for the guild to get the kill.
Raid channel is open communication for everyone. Once the team gets to a boss, cut out the chatter and banter for raid setup/explanations/etc.
If you have questions or need clarification on the fight, as before pull.
During fights the Raid Leader will be the primary person talking and making call outs. And there will be communication between tanks.
If disruptions and chatter during fights get out of hand, raiders will be warned and then server muted if it continues.
Unless otherwise stated in the #calendar event, Tues and Thurs are main nights.
An exception is if someone is asked by officers to swap to fill a missing role or need.
To switch mains, a request must be submitted from the #raiding-forms channel in discord.
The switch is more likely to be approved if it is the same role: healer>healer, range>range, tank>tank.
The new main must be within 15% output and/or survivability of the class/spec being replaced.
The new main must be raid ready, the rest of the team is not there to funnel gear to one individual.
Unapproved alts will not be invited to main nights.
During the active part of the season, the guild has an Epic RaidBots account that raiders may use.
The account and password will be posted and pinned in the #raider-chat channel.
Do not touch any settings on the account.
Don't share the login info with non-guildies and/or non-raiders.
