Get Ready for a Wicked Event!

The Village of Wappingers Falls Recreation Department is so excited to invite you to this year's Halloween festival and parade: Wicked Wappingers. It will be a day of spooky celebration at the Village of Wappingers Falls. We'll be kicking off the festivities right after the parade at Mesier Park where there will be Trunk or Treat, music, food, vendors and games.

Parade

The parade lines up on E Main Street by the bridge, near Market Street. Marching will begin at 12 p.m. going toward Mesier Park.
Anyone can join in! 

Trunk or Treat Registration

If you want to be a part of our Trunk or Treat, we highly recommend that you please register your vehicle below:  

Volunteer Registration :)

Events are more successful with volunteers...we can't do it without you!

Each volunteer will be given a Village of WF blue vest to wear at the event. 

We will meet one week before to review each volunteer's specific role. If you can't attend the meeting, an email will be sent to you with all the info you need.

Contests

BEST COSTUMES:
The announcement to participate in the contest will be made at 1 pm.
Please line up in front of the gazebo. Single contestants only, please.
Each winner will receive a trophy and a gift certificate to enjoy at one of our local shops.

There are three age groups:
Ages 3–5
Ages 6–8
Ages 9–11

BEST DECORATED TRUNK:
The announcement will be made right after the Best Costume contest.
The winner will receive a trophy and a Foam & Wash Car Wash gift certificate.

This is a family-friendly event, so please no scary or gory costumes.
