Get Ready for a Wicked Event!
The Village of Wappingers Falls Recreation Department is so excited to invite you to this year's Halloween festival and parade: Wicked Wappingers. It will be a day of spooky celebration at the Village of Wappingers Falls. We'll be kicking off the festivities right after the parade at Mesier Park where there will be: Trunk or Treat, a devilish DJ, frightful food, venomous vendors, pumpkin patch, chilling contests and ghoulish games.
This is a family-friendly event, so please NO scary or gory costumes.
March in the Parade
The parade lines up on E. Main Street by the bridge, near Market Street. Marching will begin at 12 p.m. going toward Mesier Park.

Please listen for the announcement regarding when judging will take place for each age group. To participate, line up at the gazebo.
There are three age groups: Ages 5–7 / Ages 8–10 / Ages 11–13
BEST CARVED PUMPKINS
(REGISTER BELOW ~ SPACES ARE LIMITED)
Please follow the guidelines. Further instructions will be on the registration page.
GUIDELINES:
- Theme: Monsters and Goblins
- Pumpkin Size: ~11" diameter
- Entry Limit: One entry per person
- Accepted Carving Style: Classic cutouts, detailed 3D sculptures or non-traditional etching techniques
- Design Requirements: Mixed media may be included, but carving must make up the majority of the design
- Age Groups: Ages 12–17 / Adults (18 and up)
