This task supports Science outcome ST2-10ES-S by encouraging students to apply their understanding of Earth's rotation and its impact on day and night. It also supports English outcomes EN2-CWT-01 and EN2-CWT-03, as students are required to respond to the question, express imaginative or informed ideas. Additionally, students apply EN2-VOCAB-01 by using accurate subject-specific terms like rotation, daylight, and orbit.
