I purchased the WD EasyStore personal back up. I was running out of room on my laptop hard drive. I want to move some files to the external drive using drag and drop. I do NOT want to use it to back up my computer. I also want to be able to use the files from the external EasyStore.
PC: Power off, unplug then hold the power button for 20 seconds to drain any remaining power.Plug it back in, power it back up and Grub will delay starting as if your computer has been switched off for weeks, so it won't completely overtake your BIOS menu. I experience the similar issue. Mouse clicks work for a while after connection established then stop working. Holding Alt and pressing Tab a few times makes them work again (for a while). Except DrWeb - I can call it by clicking on the tray icon but can't do anything there. Both computers are running v12.0.83369. My computer is runnning Windows 8.1 x64, the remote computer is running Windows 7 x64.
I had this problem with TeamViewer 13, and I discovered that it was caused by an USB mouse connected to the target computer. Once I removed the mouse from the USB port, mouse clicks, and overall mouse responsiveness greatly improved.
Removing the USB mouse on the remote computer is not an option for me. Any other solutions other than a reboot? A reboot does fix the problem but only for a limited number of connections. I also am using Version 13 with the latest updates on both local and remote.
When during remote session cursor reaches left side of the screen InputDirector moves cursor to "slave" computer, but TeamViewer is not aware of that, it shows cursor as if never left the screen, so any clicks and keyboard presses are actually being routed to the "slave" computer instead.
This began happening to me right after I started receiveing popup messages about TeamViewer suspecting that I'm using their app for commercial purposes. This odd as I've used TeamViewer for many years to control computers and VMs running out of my home. The suggested fixes in this thread have not worked. **Third Party Product**, here I come!
Found the fix. The problem came after upgrading to Mojave. You just need to update TeamViewer desktop permissions in System Preferences > Security & Privacy > Privacy > 'Allow the apps below to control your computer' > Check 'TeamViewer_Desktop' > Done.
Finally! Someone posted an answer that actually worked in my situation. Thanks! I was about to bail on TeamViewer because I couldn't control my main computer from my laptop while on trips. I could sign in, but I couldn't click on anything on my main comptuer desktop. Your solution was perfect. Thanks again!
So right now I'm getting by on quick fixes, temporary workarounds, and rebooting. Incidentally doing a reboot allows the repairs and updates to work, but they don't seem to do anything either, eventually it will just disconnect the user.
Just a suggestion. I read about this somewhere. But for kicks, if those 5 or 6 users have email on their phones try having them log out. Then, see if they are able to enter the password on the PC. I think the one I saw had an Android phone but not sure it that has anything to do with it. Figure it is worth a try and I would like to know if it was coincidence or actually does have something to do with the phone account.
mistys2 and Jeff_D - The user's passwords for Office are synced up in AD meaning they can't change their password themselves without locking themself out of everything, including being able to log onto thier computers. I'll give the phone app logout/in a try, but there's no way they will have changed their credentials. If it does anything I'll let you know :)
Kevin5694 - The weird thing is that all of the other Office apps work fine, they aren't asking for a password, and signing out and back in through them doesn't seem to do anything. I used to use this method unde the older authenticatiojn method myself :)
AaronJBerger - The only addons running in Outlook are the ones that come with Office 365, the odd thing is there's no difference between theirs and any other user. I'll double check the multiple accounts thing, they shouldn't be using multiple accounts but, you know, users *shrug* my solution now is to swap them out with another computer so I can troubleshoot it properly when it isn't being used and, if needs be, rebuild the profile to see if that works :)
From my past experience, I have had to make sure of two things. One, that Office is up-to-date. Secondly, I have had to clear credential manager and restart the computer. Once those steps were completed the users were able to successfully get back into the Outlook client and enter their credentials.
When I try to get my sim to use the computer, nothing happens. I tried resetting(debugging) the computer using testingcheats but that didn't fix the problem. I also tried switching to different computers (both cc and non-cc ones) and restarting the game but nothing works. The problem just appeared randomly while I was playing the Sims 4. One second everything was fine and suddenly my sims can't use the computer anymore.

I have the same issue. The Sim tries to sit down, then my sim is "jumping" back into the standing position and the task to use the computer has broken up. I erased all Mods already, but that didn't solve the problem

I had the same problem. Unplug your laptop from the power source. Remove the battery. Re install that battery. Your computer will restart and will bring you to the password page. It may take a few minutes to reset but it worked for me.
Can any one help me with this? Has anyone experienced something similar? The iCloud upload is still there and still isn't progressing at all (not sure what its trying to upload anyways since the files were all deleted). My computer is unusable and my files are all gone. I have a Time Machine backup from last week, but I will not have access to for almost 2 more weeks so if there's a way to recover my files sooner and kill this upload task, that would be amazing.
Hi guys i Think i found out where you can get all the data back (and i dont know why apple would do somthing like this as it is soo stupid) when you chosse to back up your files on icloud (Which i will never do again in the future) a sperate folder is made on you mac calles "icloud Drive (Archive)" it is located in Users > " your computer user name" > iCLoud Drive (Archive) - here you should find all your files that were just deleted ! (well at least i did)
