FAQs

WHY IS THERE A DIFFERENCE IN TICKET PRICES AND WHICH ONE SHOULD I CHOOSE?

In a typical year, patrons would need to purchase one ticket for each individual attending the show. This year, due to the virtual nature of the production, it makes more sense to have one stream per household / group. We have three levels of ticket pricing: INDIVIDUAL, PAIR, and GROUP. If you plan to watch the production by yourself, feel free to purchase an INDIVIDUAL ticket for $10. If you are planning to watch the production with your special prince / princess (or Donkey - hey, we don't judge), we ask that you purchase a PAIR ticket for $20. If you are watching the production with all of your fairytale friends / family, we ask that you purchase a GROUP ticket for $30. With all the extra costs that go into safely mounting a production during this time and filming it, we hope that you will choose the ticket option that works best for you while continuing to support our program.

There is also a donation option with every ticket purchase.

HOW WILL I BE ABLE TO WATCH THE SHOW?

We will be using the new streaming platform ShowTix4U. In order to stream the production, you will need to purchase a ticket. Public ticket sales begin April 5. Once you purchase a ticket and the video is ready to be streamed, you will be sent an access code via email from ShowTix4U. You will need to enter this code when it is time for the show to start. You will be able to stream your production through the ShowTix4U website or their mobile app. You will need a reliable internet connection in order to stream the production.

WHEN WILL I BE ABLE TO WATCH THE SHOW?

SHREK THE MUSICAL will be available for viewing Friday, April 30 at 7:00pm; Saturday, May 1 at 2:00pm & 7:00pm; and Sunday, May 2 at 2:00pm. You must purchase a ticket for a specific time to view the show. You will need to tune in at that specific time in order to watch. You will not be able to pause or rewind the stream. Be sure to sign-in early so you don't miss a thing!

WHAT DOES IT MEAN WHEN IT ASKS 'HOW MANY DEVICES' AT CHECKOUT?

When you purchase a ticket, it will ask you how many devices you wish to purchase for that one ticket. Patrons should select "1 Device." Multiple devices equate to multiple tickets and will allow Patrons to stream the show simultaneously from different pieces of technology (phone, laptop, tablet, tv, etc). By selecting multiple devices you are also increasing your ticket price. For example, if you are purchasing a ticket for a Group to watch the show (recommended $30), but each member of the group wants to watch the show on their own phones / tablets, it would be better for you to purchase an Individual ticket ($10) and select "3 Devices." The total would come out to the same price.

WHAT HAPPENS IF I GIVE MY ACCESS CODE TO SOMEONE ELSE?

Once you purchase a ticket and it comes time for the performance, you will be sent an access code via email from ShowTix4U. You will need to enter this code when prompted in order to watch the production at the specified time. If you give your access code to someone else so that they can watch the stream that you paid for, you will lose access. Each access code is only good for one device. If you would like to stream the show on multiple devices, you will need to select that option when purchasing your ticket.

WHEN DO TICKETS GO ON SALE?

Tickets will be available to purchase starting on Thursday, April 1st - NO JOKE!

WHAT IF I WANT TO WATCH THE SHOW AGAIN?

You will need to purchase another ticket! We thank you in advance for supporting our program!

WHAT IS THE RUN TIME OF THE SHOW?

The production will run about 2 hours and 15 minutes. Due to the virtual nature of the production, you will be unable to rewind or restart the viewing.

WILL THERE BE AN INTERMISSION?

There will be a 5 minute Intermission between Act 1 and Act 2. There will be an on-screen countdown timer so you know how much time remains.
