Teacher Grants
Up to $2,000 in grants will be awarded to teachers and staff who are paid WHS PTSA members.
Our first round of funding will close Friday, September 13th, 2024 to be announced by November.
Grants may fund special classroom supplies or equipment, field trips, supplemental reading materials or materials to provide experiences in the visual and performing arts. In addition, grants for registration or to special training will be considered (grant monies MAY NOT be used to cover the cost of the substitute required, if training is during school hours).
Individual grants can be awarded for amounts of up to $500.
Funds are limited to materials that will enable you to complete a project or enhance an innovative idea.
The number of grants awarded each year depends on the available PTSA funds.
The funds received must be expended in the school year in which the award was given and receipts are required for our audit.
All items funded through this program become the property of Washington High School.
You must be a Washington HS PTSA member to apply for a grant.
