My name is Monica Taylor and I teach Art 1 at Whittier High School.

My background is in Arts Education. I studied Art Education and received my BA and Teaching Credential from Cal State Fullerton. My love for the arts began as a student growing up locally in Whittier, CA. I had a passion for creativity. I love experimenting with different mediums, drawing, painting murals and being creative in life. My motto is everyone can be an artist and learn how to draw,  just as anyone can learn to shoot a basketball, ride a bike or swim! Drawing  is a skill and you can do it!
