If you are interested in playing lacrosse in college or even considering it, this information may be useful to you.

First - Let Coach Decker know right away - fill out the form at the top of the page - it is good for us to meet before you start reaching out to schools.

It is good to start the process during your sophomore year but options are open if you decide later.

Look at the lacrosse websites of schools you are interested in and look for their recruiting page. If you are interested in the school, Complete the recruiting form.

Know what the general entrance requirements are for schools you are interested in and be sure you are close or working toward achieving those standards.

US Lacrosse offer some great basic information on playing in college. That page mostly shares the process from the coaches end but very good to know.


Narrowing down your schools - This NCAA Directory is a good tool to use. Sort schools by division and then by sport. limit it to one state or do All and then sort the list by state

This search is for DIII, Women's Lacrosse, and all states (sorted by state)


Club Lacrosse in college - This is an option if your school offers it. Most girls schools this is a reasonable option. Boys programs club programs can be much more competitive due to Title 9 and fewer Men's college programs that have moved to club.


If you are serious about playing College DI, Dll you will need to complete the NCAA Eligibility Center - You can fill it out for Dlll as well but not required

NCSA Next College Student Athlete - it has great general information and has the full list of school at each Division Level for Women's Lacrosse that you can acess for free. I believe the cheapest package is $500.



Alumni Connections - Go to the Alumni Section - to see where they are. If you want to know more about their school or lacrosse program, I can do my best to get you in touch with them.

Framingham State University - played there - Emily Burnett (D) - She loves playing for the long standing coach. They are competitive in their conference and regionally - DIII. She has also excelled their academically. . Clinic Information Registration Form These are good to attend whether you are interested in playing at FSU or not - a good value!!
