From the pages of The Right Tentacle of God: A Study of Our Glorious Church by Feldkardinal Klaus Lugo, Imperium of Immerreich, Duism Alliance, 1931 (note: the following excerpt is taken from a state media-licenced publishing imprint and should be regarded with the utmost criticality. “And so, the Prophet, chosen as Kaiser and rightful ruler of the firmament’s mortal domain by the miracle we call Demiurge, restored in three days the sky above Kraussheim. The ashes transmuted into holy water, with only a burning memory of the days when our holy lands were washed in a blaze of atomic fire. Demiurge as our witness, if the Prophet had chosen to cleanse the skies, it would have been enough. Our Kaiser, however, knew we could not let the foul heathens and blighters who pollute the west continue to insult us with impunity–it would be an affront to the Demiurge! Instead, our Prophet set his sights upon the Coalition heretics, starting with their poisonous jewel–their central kingdom, Arthuria!
“Advancing upon the heart of the enemy was no easy task. Hurriedly, the Kaiser chose his apostles: a handsome gunfighter from the great armada of the Libertatian sea, a mechanical marvel of ever-radiant and puckish spirits, a dashing railway captain seeking to avenge the countrymen she’d seen neglected and misused, an ingenious horror bearing two souls bound by godskin wonders of the Age of Shards. But there is one more, one soldier who rose above the rest. A forgotten daughter of another Prophet struck down by the Gods for his degeneracy. I speak, of course, of the Staffeldbischof.
“Nobody truly knows where this hero came from or what her extraordinary powers could mean. What we know is there have, over the years, been many who sought to commune with the Demiurge, false prophets who would rather gallop as fools than truly harness such power and wield it against the heathens. Forsaken as all greatness is by these simpletons, this golden child fell into the Prophet’s very own care where she rose through the ranks. Her victories throughout the proxy campaigns after the Plague-That-Melts earned her the never-before-held military rank of Staffeldbischof, supreme commander of all martial cadres in the clergy. She would be chosen to lead the Kaiser’s apostles to greatness, she and she alone who conquered the blue hordes at the border and the barbaric steppe bandits to the north. It is she who will lead us to smite the icon of sin, the great enemy: Delmsloy!
“The Kaiser set his holy warriors upon their avenging crusade, ready to find glory tilling our fields with the blood of the advancing unbelievers. He christened them Kugelblitz, ‘the Great Rolling Lightning’. Forwards, children of the Gods, towards a new dawn under the Iron Cirrus!”

Intercepted transmission from Osterese mobile command out of the LeMarque railway hub (captured c. winter of 1930), presumably 7th Ferromarine Motorjager Brigade “Chitin-Toed Boots” [Decoded by Nigel Haldane, Codebreaker/Messenger, Syndika of the Fool, O’ Donnell Chapter][Adj. Language and Signal Errors]:
“Liquidated asset 250km from allied skyplat. Utilizing *static* cloaking device, achieved appearance of civilian pleasure aerosloop. *Incoherent* weapon shipment just as R–*static* predicted. Artificer performed the first test of the Bullet Man, at least fifty messy casualties. Pressure suits salvaged and repaired, six Crow three Owl one Dredge plus fourteen Hummingbird–useless as these are *static* aerial only. Godskin tonics for boarding crew work as planned, request shipment for planned spring assault. No further components for Engine.
“Transporting half pressure suits to *incoherent*, hopefully plausible deniability with Freikorps wearing F.P. skins. En route to agreed railyards in the wasteland. I do hope the smell will be more pleasant than on Coalition grounds. Again, the *Haldane was unable to translate title–not Volkic?* must be found. The daughter will not fail us. Awaiting further orders once in the domain of the Pirate Queen. Glory to Immerreich, to our Prophet, to our Demiurge.”
