The first of our workshops in 2019 had as purpose, among others, to demonstrate the interconnections between the two fields. Lively mathematical interactions occurred during the workshop among the participants from the two fields, from different countries, and from different groups of any kind.
In the second of our workshops in 2024, we aimed to continue this productive interaction by fully representing the two areas of its title. We also aimed to form bridges to new areas by including talks in closely related fields in such a way that the participants benefit from this multifaceted approach.
This third edition of the workshop aims at bringing together specialists from harmonic analysis, operator theory, and connected domains, in a unique format that facilitates all domains, provides a forum for the exchange of state-of-the-art results and triggers new research and collaborations.
Bucharest is a lively cultural city with its many historical attractions, art museums, wonderful parks, and entertaiment. The Institute of Mathematics is situated in a nice historical area, close to the famous Calea Victoriei and within a walking distance from the city center.
This edition is dedicated to the 65th anniversary of H. Turgay Kaptanoğlu who was one of the initiators of this workshop and continues to be one of its engines. We wish our co-organizer many happy returns to his birthday.
