Come join us for our monthly Whittier Outside Classroom Clean up days.

We'll need help weeding, watering, filling the bird feeders and planting or harvesting from the veggie garden. Don't forget the flower garden in front of the school. That will also need to be watered and cleaned up as well.

Our outside classroom is an extension of our school, especially during this COVID school year when it's even more beneficial to get some fresh air outside.

Enjoy a visit to our outside classroom! Come jump along the circular rock slabs, have a picnic, and watch the birds. During the warmer months, we have veggies and herbs growing in our raised beds. Our Whittier families are welcome to harvest what is available when you come for a visit.

In the Spring, we will kick off our monthly Outside Classroom Cleanup Days. We will have our clean up days on the first Sunday of the month unless it falls on a holiday (then the 2nd Sunday of the month). We typically weed, plant, water, clean up some trash, fill the bird feeders, etc. We love seeing our Whittier families here and the kids love getting their hands dirty.

We could always use some extra help with this space, whether you have a green thumb or not, your participation is so greatly appreciated!
