Our Terms and Conditions are pretty simple. We want to treat your fairly and provide excellent service and in return, we expect the same. White Diamond Cleaning, LLC (WDCLLC) would like to lay out some general provisions to our services:
New Client Payments - Payment is due at prior to the cleaning service as agreed. Cash or personal checks are preferable however we can accept Venmo. In the event we receive a returned check, you will be responsible to cover a $75.00 return check fee and also make good on the payment within 24 hours with cash. If you become a reoccurring client, we will be fine with receipt of payment at the end of the cleaning session. I typically gauge this after 3-4 cleaning sessions
Cleaning Expectations - We are a cleaning service however we expect that what we are cleaning is kept up reasonably well where we can complete our work within a reasonable time-frame. In the event your place is extensively dirty beyond expectation, we will try to give warning of what we see as we go along with the work. We may stop to gauge the situation and give you a call to negotiate how much additional work may be required and a fair fee.
What you should expect from us during a conventional cleaning service is that we will do very minor organizational work or disorganized things laying around. If you don't want things moved, you need to detail this for us. A note on the counter is a great means of getting across instructions. After some organizational work, we will go into the rooms that are in our scope of cleaning and we will usually start high and wipe down counters, appliances, tables, etc. which may occur as we organize. We generally use a proper disenfectant along with cleaners designed for the materials being cleaned. Once we are done with the wipe-down, we generally move into sweeping and vacuuming followed by mop duty which may consist of a general mopping or wetted swifer style pad cleaning for hardwood style flooring.
Hazardous Materials - Cleaning a home is generally something that is relatively hazard free however if there are situations that you know of that are potentially hazardous, please let us know. If you or your residing family members harbour any diseases or sicknesses, it is a requirement that you let us know in advance of the cleaning. We do not want our staff becoming sick because of unknown conditions.
Cooking & Laundry - These services are not included in our general cleaning services. If you need assistance with these, we will be glad to try and source someone who can help with these. We consider these beyond the realm of general cleaning.
Options - Below are some options that we can perform upon request
Dry Steam Cleaning - This is where we come behind as a last step and use a dry steam cleaner. These are excellent for performing hard to clean areas as the dry steamers are great at loosening grime/dirt that detergents and water cannot seem to get at. The dry steamer can also provide an additional level of sanitizing that one cannot obtain with detergents and water alone. We always follow behind with cleaning/drying towels. A general rule of thumb is that performing a dry steaming to rooms like a kitchen will run about $100-$200 additional based on the size of kitchen. Bathrooms will average $50-$75 per room if needed.
Carpet Shampooing - We are not a deep cleaning shampooing company. However, if your carpets need a general light shampooing, we will arrange to bring in a Rug Doctor Shampoo machine with cleaning agents and perform a light shampooing. We will quote by the job as needed and it should be expected that our service would be comparable in price to other services however we typically will spend more time and the expectations of work are generally comparable. We like to use a hotwater shampoo with proper detergents and a rinse once done, also with hot water. A typical 10x20 bedroom would likely run $50 +/- however larger projects , ie doing 3-4 bedrooms on a single job would reduce the rate. It is the homeowners responsibility to ensure that the carpets are allowed proper time to dry before getting back on them once done, typically 3-4 hours.
Limitation of Liability - White Diamond Cleaning is an bonded and insured company. We strive to ensure that we are as safe as we can be in your home or office environment. It is your responsibility to ensure that the location we are cleaning has a minimal amount of potential issues as possible where things can become broken on accident. If your items are of value, please locate them out of the way. Cleaning is generally done at a pace that requires us to move quickly and efficiently and having things in the way like glassware or artwork where items may have inherit value could be damaged on accident. Please assess the risks you want to take. We exclude liability of damage to these items and it understood when we enter your place to clean, that the risk of damage is on you, not WDC.
