Cast and Crew Bios

Corinne Adams 

Corinne is a senior and this is her 7th show. She is excited to do hair and makeup for the 3rd time and hopes you come to see her on stage in The Laramie Project: Ten Years Later. She plays viola in Walnut's Chamber Orchestra, is only slightly obsessed with the BBC’s show, Call The Midwife, and is currently stressing out over her college applications. 

Eleanor Augustynen

Eleanor is a 7th grader. Eleanor is a big fan of news bombing, sneaking into shots of the local news. Make sure to look out for her during curtain call and also on Channel 5 News.

McKenzie Bell

McKenzie is a sophomore and she really wants to find a way to work a Jonas Brothers reference into her bio but can’t figure it out. Enjoy the show!


Katie Berich 

Katie is a senior and ecstatic to be performing in her 16th show at Walnut! You may have recently seen her as Caitlin Carney in The Ferryman, the Narrator in Puffs, or Sue Snell in Carrie. In her spare time, Katie enjoys running and trying new flavors of sparkling water. She hopes you enjoy the show!

Norah Boehm

Norah is a freshman at Walnut Hills and she is thrilled to have been cast for her first show at Walnut. She previously was on the lighting crew for the 2022 One Act Festival. Apart from theater, Norah enjoys sewing, crocheting, baking, and writing. She hopes you enjoy the show!


Will Boone

Will is a senior and his bio is going to be really lame and sad because he didn’t write his own bio and left it to stage management so this is what you’re getting.

Peri Brenner 

Peri Brenner is a Junior at Walnut Hills, and this is her 5th show! She has always worked on props crew. In her free time she enjoys painting, reading and listening to music. She is the only Junior working on props crew for this show. Peri hopes you enjoy the show!


Eliot Brueggemann

Eliot Brueggemann is a high school sophomore at Walnut Hills High School. He has done build and deck for the shows Frozen Jr., Macbeth, One Acts 2021, Carrie, SpongeBob, Lend Me a Tenor, Guys and Dolls Jr., Rhinoceros, and any he is forgetting. In his free time you can catch him in his room doing homework and pondering the meaning of life. The world is a cruel place full of terrible people, does anything have meaning or is it all an illusion? You can also catch him playing video games or watching old classic TV shows like The X-Files and Law and Order. Eliot's name is also usually spelled wrong and don't be surprised if it is not spelled Eliot Brueggemann. 

Charles Burdsall

Charles is a sophomore attending Walnut Hills, and is eager to get back into acting with The Laramie Project as his Fifth show(first show at Walnut), previously starring in roles such as Dromio of Ephesus and Julius Caesar. Outside of theater and acting, Charles enjoys the outdoors, the gym, botany, poetry, music, cooking, and appreciating beauty of all aspects in all places to an extent of a state of euphoria.


Maya Busche

Maya is a Senior and this is her nth show at Walnut! She is so grateful for the opportunity to be involved in both The Laramie Project and The Laramie Project: 10 Years Later. This is her 5th time Sound Designing (Part I) and her very 1st time Assistant Stage Managing (Part II)!

Al Carmicle 

Al is a sophomore at WHHS and is excited to be on costume crew for her fifth show here. She has had the pleasure of doing quick changes from the streets of New York to the halls of a Certain School of Magic. Between shows and homework she likes reading, sewing, shopping, and roller skating. Al hopes you enjoy this production of The Laramie Project and come back to see the rest of the shows this season!



Nate Caudill

Nate is a senior, and this is his twelfth show here at Walnut Hills, along with directing two others. Jeez, he’s getting kinda old isn’t he? You may have seen him as Billy in Carrie: the Musical or his cappie-winning performance Macduff in that Scottish play. In his free time, he enjoys lifting weights and spending time with friends, but should probably spend more time applying to college. Nate proud to be part of a show that’s so important to this country in these times. He hopes you enjoy The Laramie Project!

Arrow Coker

Arrow Coker is a freshman at walnut hills high school and is excited to be a part of their first show at walnut. With doing shows at other schools such as Seussical, Peter and the Starcatcher, and other productions. They also have done classes with the Cincinnati Shakespeare Company, which they have immensely enjoyed. With theater always being a part of their life from when they were little to today, this show continues their journey of acting in shows. They have also worked crew in two productions at another school working spotlights. They hope to participate in many more shows to come. Elijah Cook

Elijah Cook is a Sophomore and is excited to be back in  the black box theater in a Walnut Hills High School show. You may have seen him in the jr high one act Oz or the Cincinnati Young People's Theater (CLP) productions of Joseph and the Technicolor Dream Coat, Grease, and Jesus Christ Superstar. He would like to thank his friends and family for all their support. He hopes you enjoy the show!

Emma Dalton

Paige Devaul

Paige is an effie and is on costume crew. A little known fact about Paige, she’s actually a professional croquet player and very proud of it so please ask her about the game because she would love to inform you about it. Have a pleasant time at this show!

Kyra Doty 

Kyra is a senior and she is so excited to be a part of her 14th show at Walnut! In the past you may have seen her as Wayne Hopkins in Puffs, Lady Macduff in Macbeth, or in CAST’s production of The Ferryman as Nunu Carney. She would like to thank her friends and family for their love and support, and the amazing cast crew and production team of The Laramie Project. She hopes you enjoy the show!

Aida Doumbia 

Aida Doumbia is a Senior at Walnut this year, and this is her first production! She has seen many shows and is very excited to be a part of one. In her spare time, she participates in a bunch of different clubs, including Muslim Student Association, French Club, and A Cappella Team. At home, she bakes, crochets, reads, and puzzles deep into the night, but tonight she hopes that you have a good time.


Diabou Fall

Diabou Fall is a current Senior at Walnut Hills High School and is very excited to be costume designing The Laramie Project! This is her 3rd show overall and first show designing. In her free time she can be seen reading, sewing or painting. She also enjoys going to rock concerts whenever she can!


Morgan Felsburg

Morgan is a senior at Walnut. She is doing props crew for The Laramie Project, and is in the cast of The Laramie Project: Ten Years Later. She hopes you enjoy the show! 


Hannah Frame

Hannah is a sophomore at Walnut and is very excited to be participating in The Laramie Project, which is her 2nd show. In her free time she loves to bake, play games with her family and hang out with her cats. Hannah thanks you for coming to the show and hopes you enjoy it!

AJ Frecker

AJ is Senior and is excited to be a head props designer for their last fall play at Walnut. She wants to thank and send love to her crew on this show and to the amazing Laylah who is totally slaying as Assistant Director. They hope you enjoy the show and come back for more! Bye y'all:)

Sophie Glenn

Sophie Glenn is a SENIOR! This is her 8th Walnut show and her 4th in the role of lighting designer. When not sleeping on the floor in the lighting booth, she can be found playing saxophone in Walnut’s jazz ensemble, playing bass with her friend Ben Millard in their two-man band, seeing live music with her friends, and doing little dances. She would like to thank her family, especially her dad and Aunt Terry for inspiring to go to Walnut, her friends, and the lesbian populace of the world. Please enjoy The Laramie Project. To adapt an old ACT UP slogan: Queer nation – love it or leave it!


Edmund Gimbert

Edmund, a junior at WHHS, is thrilled to help put on The Laramie Project. He enjoys working backstage to help improve the technical aspects of theatre productions. When not with the theatre department, Edmund enjoys discovering new music, playing guitar, and reading. He hopes you enjoy the show!

Noa Jaffee

Noa is a ninth grader and is positively ecstatic to be in her fifth walnut production! Last year, you may have seen her as Doris Sawyer in Who am I This Time, freaking out her mother as a member of lighting crew in Carrie, or in the ensemble of 42nd Street. When she’s not at rehearsal, Noa likes to read, bake, hang out with friends, and dramatically wax seal birthday cards. Noa would like to thank everyone involved in this show and hopes you enjoy!


Christian (CJ) Jordan

CJ is a senior and is excited to be a part of The Laramie Project, his first venture into the theatre world. Since coming to Walnut, CJ has consistently a part of the WHHS Choral Department, and is trying something new with this. 

Piper Hawkins

Piper is a 7th grader and a member of the marketing and publicity crew. She is very happy about starting in theater this year! You can probably find her in the library listening to music after school, or catching up on the latest celebrity drama. 

Izzie Hayes

Izzie is a freshman at Walnut Hills High School and is on costume crew for The Laramie Project. In their freetime, they like to compete in yodeling competitions at the international level as well as teaching a local clogging class to the youth. She hopes you have a great viewing experience and appreciate the fine costumes. 

Evan Kelm

Evan is a senior at Walnut & is very excited. Yes, he's excited about the show, but he's also just a very excited person. All the time. 


Abbie Kershner

She came, she saw, she stage managed. 


Ayana Kim 

Ayana is a sophomore and is very excited to be working on costumes for her first show here at Walnut! She hopes to work on more shows in the future and while not in school or theatre you can find her with her baby nephew or friends, working awful diligently in the woods, or reading. She would like to thank her favorite Animal Farm hater and family for their support :) She hopes you thoroughly enjoy The Laramie Project and find that it moves you deeply, or at least that the costumes are fire.


Josie Leanza 

Josie Leanza is a senior at Walnut Hills High School. The Laramie Project will be her eleventh show with The Walnut Hills Theater Department. She made previous appearances in Xanadu Jr, Alice, Hairspray Jr., Hamlet, Songs for a New World, Frozen Jr., Rhinoceros, The SpongeBob Musical, The Scottish Play, and Carrie! She is excited for you to see her perform in The Laramie Project! Theatre is one of her happy places and she has felt welcomed and loved throughout her experience in the program. She thanks her cast mates, parents, and piano teacher for their support and motivation. She would also like to thank the hard-working cast and crew for making the show possible, and her family and friends for following her along with positivity on the journey. She hopes everyone enjoys the show!


Adelaide Linser

Adelaide is a sophomore and this is her 11th show at Walnut. You may have recently seen her as Dorothy Brock in 42nd Street YPE, Adelaide in Guys and Dolls Jr., or in the ensemble of Carrie: The Musical. Outside of theatre, Adelaide is working on her 3rd year of Colorguard. Adelaide hopes you have fun and enjoy the show!


Caroline Lovelace

Caroline is super excited to be working on The Laramie Project! This is her 10th show with the WHHS theatre department and recently, you might’ve seen her tapping her feet off (literally) as Peggy Sawyer in 42nd Street or catching sexy sharks in the ensemble of Mean Girls. When she’s not onstage, she’s stomping on a chair with the coolest people in choir (hey hey altos!), planning her Disney princess Pinterest wedding, rocking out with her Alexa, or doing muppet impressions. She’d like to thank the really cool cast, crew, and production team, and she’s honored to be telling this story with them :)

Rowen Lucas 

Rowen is a 7th grader at Walnut. This is their first show at Walnut and they are very excited to be on costume crew. If you would like to buy them a candy gram, feel free to do so. 

Gerard Madson-Clemen

Gerard is a junior at Walnut and super excited to be part of The Laramie Project. He has been part of Lend me a Tenor and Puffs, usually hiding backstage or in the scene shop. In between school and theatre, you might see him at a coffee shop or a rock concert. Enjoy the show :)

Bailey McKinney 

Bailey McKinney is a senior at Walnut, and this is her 4th show! You probably haven’t seen her at all, because she prefers to hide in the shadows and help with build crew or stage management. If you have seen her, she’s the weird ginger who’s always smiling about something. Her signature was all over the infamous couchable from Puffs, and the intro to Carrie is perpetually stuck in her head. When she isn’t building or on a trash run, you can find her hanging out with friends, reading, or petting her cats. Bailey hopes you love the show!


Ben Millard

Ben is on the lighting crew and he is sadly a senior. He will miss his time roaming the tapioca colored halls of Walnut Hills. But never mind that, right now Ben is just happy to be a part of something, something being The Laramie Project which he really hopes you enjoy.

Felix Moore

Felix is a sophomore at Walnut who has participated in eleven shows so far in the WHHS Theatre Department, twelve if you are counting The Laramie Project, which he is very excited to be a part of.  He has enjoyed nearly every moment of being part of various crews throughout his highschool career. Most notably, if you were present at our spring play, Puffs, last year, you may have had slugs thrown at you, or even better, witnessed the dragon’s egg (that was Felix) appearing through the ground. Although theatre is one of his main hobbies, oftentimes he will be baking or shopping. Felix would like to thank you for coming to this production of The Laramie Project

Adah Mosher 

Adah is a freshman and this is her seventh show at Walnut. She is incredibly excited to be playing Amanda Gronich, among others, in this production of The Laramie Project. You may recognize her as Katie Newton in One Acts 2022 a chorus girl in 42nd Street YPE, or her hair and make up in Macbeth and Carrie. In her free time she enjoys reading murder mysteries, practicing with her band, and watching Gilmore Girls. She would like to thank the amazing cast and crew for making this show happen and her friends and family for always supporting her. Please enjoy The Laramie Project!


Hoyt Noble

Hoyt is a junior and also a very noble man. Seriously, ask any of his friends he’s like the most noble guy ever. He also likes to dive and do backflips- sometimes even at the same time. He hopes you enjoy The Laramie Project!

James Overton

James is a junior and is ready for show number 6. He’s taking a step back from acting to help with deck crew. When he’s not in theater, you can see him writing stories for The Chatterbox, playing ping pong in the forum, or helping out at Green club.


Larena Peart

Larena is a freshman at Walnut, in their spare time can be found taking care of all the animals on her uncle James’ farm & baking cookies for her family. She hopes you enjoy the show & come back for more of the Walnut theatre experience!


Ryan Peerless

Ryan is a senior and this is his 11th show at Walnut, 8th as a designer. He is excited to be back where he started with the fall play, this time as the Scenic Designer (Both Parts) and Lighting Designer (Part II)! He is officially done with scenic design and can’t wait to turn the lights on and off for the rest of the season! He hopes you enjoy The Laramie Cycle!

Sophia Raines 

Sophia is a junior on light crew. She hopes to one day pursue her dream of becoming a professional shadow puppeteer and follow in the footsteps of her late and great great great great great great second aunt, but until then she’ll stick with being the light board operator for The Laramie Project. Enjoy the show!

Lizzy Rebber

Lizzy is a SENIOR but between tennis and theater she is a professional social media personnel by day and a spy by night. You may catch her chasing after criminals like the infamous Shmichael Merman for stealing Sherm’s beard off his face but since she's not on the job right now she hopes you enjoy The Laramie Project and her amazing Hair & Makeup Design!

Zoe Romanos

Zoe is a freshman at Walnut and is very excited to officially be a part of her first show. In her free time, she enjoys reading, playing music, drawing, and lots more. Zoe appreciates that you came and hopes you enjoy the show!

Khara Rosebrook

Khara is a Senior at Walnut! You may have seen her in a dream once very very long ago…


Jonathan Rubin

As much as you have been led to believe it,  Jonathan Rubin is not a homophobic pastor and is very thankful for that. He hopes you are not a homophobic pastor and believes that Homophobic pastors are not good :).


Clark Sayre 

Clark is sophomore this year and this is his eighth show. You may have seen him as Claudio in Much Ado About Nothing, Julian Marsh in 42nd Street Y.P.E., or Diarmaid Corcoran in The Ferryman. Outside of rehearsal you can find Clark obsessively practicing piano, rising like a phoenix from the ashes, or fetching the prize goose from the window for Mr. Scrooge. Clark hopes you enjoy the show!

Lauryn Shafer 

Lauryn is a sophomore at Walnut and this is her 6th show. Previously she’s been Honor Carney in The Ferryman and a part of ensemble in 42nd Street Jr. Outside of Theatre she enjoys watching TV, going on adventures, and indulging in her shopping addiction. She hopes you enjoy the Laramie project.

Nyla Shahanavaz 

Nyla Shahanavaz is currently a Junior at WHHS. She tends to stay behind the scenes in most productions, and quite enjoys all aspects of technical theater. When she is not around the theater department, you most likely can find her teaching kids how to swim, hanging out with friends, or listening to music. She hopes you enjoy the show immensely!



Jude Shotwell

Jude’s claim to fame is that there is a Beatles song named after him. He also hopes to one day pursue a degree in Nautical Archaeology.


Wolf Singer

Wolf is a senior and is super duper excited to be a part of this show. Word on the street is that if you enjoy the show, he’ll shave his head. Enjoy!


Jana Smith 

Jana thinks it is so cool and awesome that everyone gets to write bios now. She is also a senior and this is her 6th show, so she hopes you enjoy!


Heather Strom

Heather is a senior on sound crew. Her favorite sound is the machine that goes "BING!" When not working on sound, she can be found at local parks giving lectures on pawpaw foraging. 

Nola Stowe

Nola is a senior, and she’s very excited to be part of her fourth show at Walnut! You may have seen her in The Scottish Play or the 2019 One Acts, and she’s worked behind the scenes on costume crew for Carrie. Outside of theater, she writes and performs poetry, plays cello, and draws. She hopes you enjoy the show! 


Easton Taylor 

Easton Taylor is an eighth grader at Walnut. The Laramie Project is his second show and he was on deck crew for 42nd Street. Easton enjoys hanging out with friends, listening to music, and writing stories. He hopes you enjoy the show! 


Laylah Torain

Laylah is a Senior! She is very excited to be working on her 8th show at Walnut with Laramie being her first directing role! When not in the theater department, she can be found reading, listening to music, hanging with friends & family, and participating in Walnut’s Girl 2 Women. She hopes you enjoy The Laramie Project and come back to see her in action again designing hair & make-up for Chicago!

Jonas Warner

Jonas is a freshman at Walnut and is very excited to do The Laramie Project, being his first show on crew but being his fifth show overall. In his free time, Jonas enjoys skateboarding, hiking, and painting. Jonas is glad you came to the show and hopes you enjoy it!

Oran Wilkins

Oran is a Senior at Walnut. This is his 6th show as a designer and his 12th show overall. Some of his favorite shows include Hamlet (Sound Crew), Macbeth (Props Designer), and The SpongeBob Musical (Props Designer). When he is not doing theater he can often be found enjoying his time outside, in the cage for lacrosse, hanging out with friends, or creating controlled chaos at the zoo. Speaking of the zoo, he loves to drive the train at the zoo. He hopes you enjoy The Laramie Project, and that you come back to see the rest of Walnut’s theater season.
