Cast and Crew Bios

Grace Aber 

Grace Aber is a seventh grader and this is her first show at Walnut Hills. She is on the hair and makeup crew. When she isn’t participating in theater, she enjoys crafting, sewing, and reading. 

Corinne Adams 

Corinne is a senior and is so excited to be hair and makeup designer for The One Acts Festival this year! This will be the 9th show she's been a part of at Walnut; you may have seen her on stage as Hannah in Puffs, or behind the scenes doing hair and makeup for the junior high shows! When she's not doing theater, Corinne is probably binging bad TV, playing the New York Times crossword, or procrastinating her college applications. She hopes you enjoy the show! 

Meti Asefa 

Meti Asefa is an 8th grader on crew and is excited to be working for the crew on One Acts. 

Eleanor Augustynen

Eleanor Faye is in the 7th grade and was on deck crew for The Laramie Project. In Jack vs Jill, she plays the Bailiff and is so excited to be in this show. She loves candy, rainbows frogs, and dogs.



Sumner Bailey 

Sumner Bailey is a 7th grader on crew and is extremely exited to be working on crew for the one acts. 

Wesley Bailey

Wesley Bailey is an eighth grader here at Walnut Hills High School. This is Wesley’s first official WHHS performance. He will be playing the role of Ernest in the play Impromptu. He is grateful that everyone who watches came to the show.

Katie Berich 

When not directing, Katie enjoys watching reruns of Seinfeld while eating Holtman's Donuts. Also, her favorite bird is the ostrich. 

Al Carmicle

Fun Fact: Al has watched every episode of The Joy of Painting  and regularly cosplays as Bob Ross. 

Gabby Crawford

Gabby is very excited to be a lighting designer for the first time, and hopes you enjoy the One Acts. And always remember: only a Sith deals in absolutes. 

Zen Cruser

Zen believes you should always put pineapple on pizza, and if you disagree, you're wrong. 

AJ Frecker 

Fun Fact: AJ and their siblings are looking forward to the release of their first album, A Very Frecker Christmas, coming soon on Spotify!

Simone Frecker

Simone Frecker is an 8th grader and has helped with two other shows for Walnut Hills but her favorite was Puffs, which she was on props crew for. In her free time, she enjoys playing soccer for Walnut Hills and participating in Ethics Club. 


Violet Garitson 

Violet Garitson is a sophomore at Walnut, and is a member of the Lighting Crew for the One Acts Festival. She is a member of the Chatterbox and Sci-Fi club, and enjoys Walnut’s theatre productions! 

Victoria Gavin

Victoria Gavin is a 7th grader, it’s her first year at Walnut and she’s delighted to be on lights crew for her first theatre production.


Cristian Grover

Fun Fact: Maine is the closest U.S. state to Africa

MJ Hartnell 

MJ Hartnell is a freshman and this is their first show at Walnut. MJ is excited to be doing crew for the One Acts as their first theatre experience. When they’re not doing homework, they like reading, running, and watching scary movies with friends.

Piper Hawkins

Fun Fact: Piper is a bagpipes aficionado. 

Amelia Hoops 

 Amelia Hoops is a 7th grader who loves acting, singing, (Musical theater is her jam), and playing cello. One Acts festival is Amelia's 1st Walnut Production, and will definitely be coming back for more asap! She is so excited to be a part of the Walnut Hills Theatre department, and hopes you love the show! 

Eleanor Jackson

Eleanor is a freshman at Walnut Hills and this year’s One Acts Festival will be her third show. She is very excited to be stage managing her first show, and is glad you could make it! When she is not doing theater, Eleanor enjoys playing soccer and lacrosse for Walnut, as well as playing viola in the WHHS Chamber Orchestra. Eleanor would like to thank you for being here, and she hopes you enjoy the show!

Naima Jones

Fun Fact: Naima is the #1 fan of The Wiggles. 

Emmanuel Magba Kamara

Emmanuel is excited to be in his first show at Walnut. Always remember: "Wherever you go, there you are."

Abbie Kershner

Fun Fact: "We can dance if we want to.We can leave your friends behind. 'Cause your friends don't dance and if they don't dance, well, they're no friends of mine."- Men Without Hats 

Red Kinnear

Red is in 7th grade, and Jack vs Jill is her first Walnut show. In Jack vs Jill, she will be playing the Defense. Although theater is one of her hobbies, she enjoys reading and writing.


Caroline Lovelace

"We can dance, we can dance. Everybody's taking the chance. Safety dance. Oh well, the safety dance. Ah yes, the safety dance."- Men Without Hats 

Rowen Lucas 

Rowen is a 7th grader at Walnut Hills and this is their second theater production at Walnut. They are very excited to be on the hair and makeup crew! They enjoy crafting, rainbows, and frogs. 

Naomi Madaris


Naomi is an 8th Grader at WHHS! This is her second show here at Walnut! In Jack V. Jill she will be playing the role of Judge Lance Guido, and is very thrilled to be participating in this show. When she’s not immersed in the theater world, she’s into multiple hobbies outside of school such as: sleeping, singing, and playing video games!  Also,  if you went to see 42nd Street last year, then you probably saw Naomi playing the role of the Doctor! Thanks for coming to the One Acts Festival and her peers and even herself hope that you enjoy the shows that they’ve rehearsed for and put in hard work and dedication to bring to you.



Sienna McClain

Sienna is a 7th grader at Walnut Hills, and is loving it! Sienna will be playing Jill in Jack VS Jill. She is very grateful for this experience! Sienna wants to thank her parents, her three little sisters, and Jesus.



Bailey McKinney 

Bailey is an amazingly redheaded senior and this is her 5th show. She’s very excited to be wearing the stage managing hat for the first time for Jack Vs. Jill in The One Acts Festival. She has loved being part of this wonderful little theater family, particularly when she’s ridden around the school in a tiny shopping cart or has worked for multiple hours at a time on the grid on the water apparatus for The Laramie Project. Outside of theater, Bailey loves eating black raspberry chip ice cream with her boyfriend (you know who you are), watching anime under a mountain of blankets, or spinning on a chair in the library. Bailey hopes you love the show, and suggests you look up in the booth and wave at her! Maybe she’ll wave back if she’s feeling nice! 

Felix Moore 

Felix is a sophomore at Walnut who has participated in twelve shows so far in the WHHS Theatre Department, thirteen if you are counting The One Acts Festival, which he is very excited to be a part of.  He has enjoyed nearly every moment of being part of various crews throughout his high school career. Most notably, if you were present at our spring play in 2023, Puffs, you may have had slugs thrown at you, or even better, witnessed the dragon’s egg (that was Felix) appearing through the ground. Although theater is one of his main hobbies, oftentimes he will be baking or shopping. Felix would like to thank you for coming to the One Acts Festival.

Fiona Nance

Fun Fact: In September 2007, a guy named Kevin Shelley broke 46 wooden toilet seats with his head in one minute to create a world record.

MacKenzie O’Loughlin 

MacKenzie is a freshman on crew for the One Acts. Last year she was also on crew for 42nd Street. She has a passion for reading and drawing, and is excited for another fun year on crew.

Jordan Patton

Fun Fact: Striking your head against the wall, you can lose 150 calories an hour.

Ayla Perkins

Ayla hopes you live every week like its Fat Bear Week. 

Sophia Puthoff 

Sophia Puthoff is an 8th grader. and is excited to be in her 3rd Walnut production! Sophia will be playing the roles of Mother goose, Woman in a nice dress, and Man #2. When she isn’t on stage at Walnut she is almost always at dance. Sophia would like to thank her parents for always letting her follow her dreams and for driving her to all the rehearsals. She hopes you enjoy the show!

Hazel Rooksberry 

Hazel is in 7th grade and this is her first show at Walnut Hills. Hazel is very excited to be a part of crew! Outside of theater, she plays soccer for Walnut and her club. She would like to thank her family and especially her older sisters Ruby and Sophie for inspiring her to be a part of theater at Walnut. She hopes you enjoy the show!

Lauryn Shafer

Lauryn is a sophomore at Walnut and this is her 7th show. Previously she’s been Honor Carney in The Ferryman, a part of ensemble in 42nd Street Jr., and more recently Barbara Pitts in The Laramie Project. Outside of Theatre, she enjoys watching TV, going on adventures, and indulging in her shopping addiction. She hopes her effort to manage this stage pays off! 

Myla Stuckey

Myla Stuckey is an 8th grader at Walnut Hills High School. This is her second show and second one act here at Walnut. She will be playing Mysterious Man, Frank, and Man #1 in Jack vs Jill. If you saw the one-acts last year you may remember her as Mrs.Hall (the witch who made pig cobbler out of a kid.) She hopes you enjoy the show.



Amelia Price

Fun Fact: Amelia really, really, really likes soup. 

Lizzy Rebber

Lizzy is a SENIOR but between tennis and theater she is a professional social media personnel by day and a spy by night. You may catch her chasing after criminals like the infamous Shmichael Merman for stealing Sherm’s beard off his face but since she's not on the job right now she hopes you enjoy The Laramie Project and her amazing Costume Design!

Megan Reidy

Fun Fact: Megan believes any pizza can be a personal pan pizza with enough determination. 

Lauryn Shafer

Lauryn is a sophomore at Walnut and this is her 7th show. Levi Singer is in the 7th grade and is very excited to be portraying Tony in Impromptu. This is his first show at Walnut. He hopes that you enjoy the show! 

Wolf Singer

Fun Fact: Wolf is adamant that "Han shot first" and he will die on that hill.

Annabel Wilhelmy

Annabel Wilhelmy is a new 8th grader, and is excited to be on the hair and makeup crew for the 2023 One Acts Festival as their first theatre production here at Walnut. They love expressing themself through fashion and makeup almost as much as theatre! They’re hoping that One Acts is the first of many projects they will be a part of at Walnut.

Cecily Winner 

Cecily is in 7th grade and this is her first show at Walnut. She is very excited to be a part of The One Acts Festival and hopes to do more Walnut plays.

Oran Wilkins

Oran is a Senior at Walnut. This is his 3rd show as a director and his 13th show overall. Some of his favorite shows include Hamlet (Sound Crew), The SpongeBob Musical (Props Designer), Macbeth (Props Designer), and The Well: A Faerie Terror (Director). When he is not doing theater he can often be found enjoying his time outside, in cage for lacrosse, hanging out with friends, or creating controlled chaos at the zoo. Speaking of the zoo, he loves to drive the train at the zoo. He hopes you enjoy The One Acts Festival 2023, and that you come back to see the rest of Walnut’s theater season.
