The White House Foreign Media Group (WHFMG) is a group of journalists that represents the largest number of foreign correspondents working at the White House in Washington, D.C. The mission of WHFMG is to promote collaboration and safeguard press freedom for members of the international media reporting from the White House briefing room.
In addition, WHFMG serves as a point of contact with the U.S. administration to advocate for the professional interests of foreign journalists covering the White House.
WHFMG is composed of foreign correspondents from leading international media outlets and represents journalists from all continents who report daily to their audiences on both the domestic and foreign policy of the President of the United States.
We aim to ensure free and fair access to White House coverage for all foreign correspondents who uphold the highest standards of professionalism.
