When the Eldar left their homeland, during the Ancient Days, some of their siblings decided to linger there, not marching westward in search of the Light of Aman. Those ones were named the Avari – The Unwilling – and the Houses which stayed on their ancestral lands faced alone the Shadow of Morgoth, rising in the East.
The Avari took refuge in the shelter of the deepest eastern forests in Middle-Earth where they would wander, hiding from Wild Men that dominated the vaster parts of the land. Through the ages, some Avari migrated westward and mingled with their Nandor and Sindar cousins, to become Silvan elves. But there were some who remained in the untamed countries of the East, beyond the sea of Rhûn…
A Light in the East is a fan-made Deluxe Expansion, with 4 quests with a narrative that's skewing from (and echoing) the narrative of the official A Shadow in the East Deluxe Expansion.

A huge thanks to Elia83 with whom we started designing this expansion (back in 2014 or 2015 I think), although most of the initial work has finally been dumped over the years due to the official card pool expansion and Eastern exploration.
Thanks to the playtesters: Mouette33, Alonewolf87, xaviermutant (and his pal), SergyB & Bobbymcbobface (and his sister).
YES there are also player cards included. They are focusing on bringing to the card pool the Avari as a fully fleshed trait revolving around making the most out of Victory Display and Encounter keyword mechanics. However I'm not showcasing them much because:
given the current card pool, it all comes down to adding new quests in my opinion
they have not been playtested as extensively as the quests themselves
That being said, you will find here everything you need here, and a sample below:
