In this section, I present a fundamental exercise from the book that can serve as a guide for you to develop your own studies as you see fit, following alternating sequences of minor and major thirds in both ascending and descending directions.
The principle of this exercise should be performed slowly, allowing each interval to settle in the body, and it can be integrated into your breathing exercises during warm-up. By alternating thirds, you will discover that minor thirds create a specific tension in the ear. This tension is not an error, but a characteristic of the system that finds its resolution by differentiating the comma interval in the following major third. By practicing this with awareness, the musician stops merely "playing notes" and begins to navigate the geometry of the sonic space, adjusting their intonation to the purity of the ratios.
My methodology extends much further: I have developed an extensive collection of exercises for various instruments, including chord studies (for string instruments or duos) and pieces for different musical ensembles. If needed, you may visit my personal page, where you can also find these resources, which I will upload as requested.
