In this case, the process is divided into two parts- when the child is below five years and when the child is above five years. However, UIDAI has not given any instructions related to Aadhaar for adults and Aadhaar for children. For children below five years of age, biometric details will not be collected, and they have to update the biometric after attaining the age of 5 years, and later, after attaining the age of 15 years, Biometric details will be updated again. Updating the biometric details of children between 5 and 15 years old is mandatory, and the procedure is free of cost.

If you are applying for the Aadhaar of your children, when his or her age is below five years, either the mother or the father has to authenticate for the child and give consent for the enrollment by signing the enrollment form. As per UIDAI, Children below the age of 5 years get the blue-colored aadhaar which is popularly known as Baal aadhaar.

Providers are reminded to enter the actual DOB for individuals, owners and managing employees, in the appropriate sections of the enrollment application (Provider Identification and Disclosures). In accordance with federal screening rule 42 CFR  455.104 and Colorado Code of Regulations 10 CCR 2505-10 8.125.15, a verification is completed for all individuals and when the DOB does not match, the application is returned to the provider for correction(s) or denied.

OPRs are not allowed to be rendering individuals on a claim. This may prompt individuals enrolled as OPRs to change their enrollment type to an IWG to allow them to be the rendering on a claim. Before the enrollment type can be updated from OPR to IWG, providers must update their license. If only a training license is on file, then the provider must submit a current, full license through the Provider Web Portal. Once the update is submitted, providers must contact the Provider Services Call Center to request the change from OPR to IWG. Once the change is complete, an affiliation must be made. Providers may affiliate via the group profile through the Provider Web Portal, or the individual will have access to make the affiliation after the enrollment type change is made.

During the Aadhaar card apply for new born baby, its UID is processed on the demographic details and the facial picture is linked with the UID of its parents. Once the new born will turn 5 years old, its 10 finger biometric will be done. The facial photography of the newly born baby will be done when the baby turns 15. So, parents who apply for Aadhaar card of newly born baby needs to remember about the 10 finger biometric of the baby when it turns 5 and facial photography after it turns 15.

My family who enrolled at Basavangudi center, had more than five counters for enrollment which was awesome. One major drawback was a few machines (biometrics) not capturing your fingers properly even after three attempts. So the operator has no option but to approve the finger prints. Only God knows it will be accepted in later stages.

I applied in March 2017 and after one months when I checked, it shows that I need to apply again. I again applied in April 2017 and after one month I checked it shows UNDER PROCESS. Surprisingly March 2017 enrollment also shows UNDER PROCESS. It is now 6 months and I am still awaiting. I went to Regional office, New Delhi but the person told me to wait for few days. What should I do? Whom should I meet? What is the remedy? I can apply only after the above enrollments are cancelled. Any suggestions please. Thanks, Place : New Delhi
