Meetings:
We have regular meetings every other week or sometimes once a month. These meetings take place in Mr. Ward's classroom, and each member is encouraged to attend them. A variety of things take place, from planning convention trips and participation, to doing bonding activities that can help earn house points. A remind message will be sent out before the meeting. Also, an Instagram post should alert you of one.

Fall Forum, National Convention, State Convention
These are large, official Latin conventions that are hosted every year and have over 1,000 students participate in them
You are encouraged to attend as many as you can throughout the year to gain experience and earn prizes!
Fall Forum takes place in the middle of October at the school of the GJCL president (For 2023 this is Walton High School). It is filled with schools across the state and is a great way to kick off the year with fun activities.
State Convention is a 3 day long event that takes place at Georgia's 4-H center in the middle of April. It has schools from all over Georgia arrive to compete for points and take home the top trophy in their respective divisions. From academics to athletics, it is an all-rounded fun experience for any student to enjoy.
National Convention is a one week event that takes place near the end of July. It is the largest Latin congregation in the USA, and it involves students from states all over the country (and even international kids). Nat Con (as it's known) is a bigger and exciting event that has everything offered at the state convention and more. From all the academic tests to a wider variety of athletic events, the fun starts there as a variety of a univeristy's features are open to students to experience and enjoy. This year's convention will be held at the Univeristy of Tennessee.
