Quilt Check In – Monday July 6th  4pm-7pm @Wellington Middle School  Auxiliary Gym

Access to the MS & Gym is off of 9th Street, not via the North A street drive. Any applicable entry fees are due at Check In.

Show Location - Wellington Middle School Auxiliary Gym -Located in WMS Parking Lot, 

605 North "A" Street, Wellington KS.  

Getting to the Gym:  Driving entrance into the Parking area for the Gym is via the 9th Street driveway.  "A" Street is a one way - North- directional street.  9th Street is to the south of the 605 N. A Street address.  9th is a two way street.

Show Dates – Friday, July 10th - 10am to 5pm  Presentation-The Evolution of Quilts-10a, 1 & 4 p

Saturday, July 11th - 9am to 4pm Presentation - The Evolution of Quilts - 10am &1pm

Quilt Pick up -  Saturday, July 11th, 5pm.

Viewers will vote on their favorite quilt/item in each category - winners of the Viewers Choice Ribbons will be announced at 2:30pm on Saturday.

Opportunity Quilt Drawing will occur Saturday afternoon @ 3:45pm, do not need to be present to win drawing.  Click on the Opportunity Quilt tab to view this years quilt!!

To the left is information on how to attach a Hanging Sleeve to your quilt for a Show!

You may also search the internet for instructions. Hanging sleeves must be machine or hand stitched securely to the quilt,  the fabric does not need to match the quilt backing.

If your entry does not have a hanging sleeve it will be displayed utilizing clips used to hang curtains/drapes.

If it is a wall hanging, or smaller item, it may be clipped or pinned to a drape/sheet.

BeeHive Quilt Shop in Wellington stated that they have a person who is willing to make/attach your hanging sleeve.  This person does charge a fee for this service & that fee is paid for by whomever is entering the quilt into the show.  Contact BeeHive at 620-440-8191 to arrange this service.  Please contact them several weeks before your hanging sleeve is needed.
