It is most popular in our country to eat healthy. We also like taking our time to eat healthy. The French gastronomy is famous all over the world. Baguettes and croissants are an essential part of our breakfast. We have many typical foods, including the choucroute garnie [dressed sauerkraut], the quiche Lorraine, the boeuf bourguignon [beef stew], the Burgundy snails, the bouillabaisse from Marseille [seasoned fish stew], the cheese fondue and raclette [cheese dish]. In our school we have a healthy project. Fruit and vegetables are brought to school twice a week. We have tried several fruit and vegetables all year long; tomatoes, bananas, apples, melon, watermelon, papaya, strawberries. We bring our breakfast from home the rest of the week.
