Throughout the March Madness process I have learned I work well being able to make the changes I need and not be under tight constraints. While conducting the interviews if I got new question ideas I could ask them without being constricted to one idea I made months ago. The process also helped me realize how organized film making is. Additionally, working with a Grace alumni really helped me realize my final project. If I had not met with someone who has an expertise in film I think I would have struggled finding a message for my documentary. The year-long process gave me enough time to thoroughly research and plan my film. The combination of freedom and time helped me create a successful project. One thing I would've changed in my planning is anticipating for the filming to take longer. I would have begun filming earlier if I understood my work process better. Overall it was a great learning experience about my work process.
