"What Makes Your Hive Thrive?" was created by and for local youth and open to all participants. Just like each bee contributes to a colony, the art pays homage to all the important aspects we bring as individuals and collectively to our community. This project was design to promote Youth Art Month's mission:
to emphasize the value of art education for all youth. It is an opportunity to connect our community with our youth's creativity to illustrate the importance of fostering artistry and innovation.

- To promote and spread awareness of Youth Art Month and its mission to “emphasize the value of art education for all youth. It is an opportunity to connect our community with our youth's creativity to illustrate the importance of fostering artistry and innovation”.
- To create free creative experiences for youth and families within the Ann Arbor community.
- To mentor youth arts leaderships opportunities.

The outcome for this project is rooted in engagement with the arts, opportunities for young people to take creative control in their community, and awareness surrounding the importance of arts in the community. The project will also bring awareness to important aspects of a community, and traits we as individuals can contribute to create a vibrant place to work and live.

- Interaction with the arts, free creative experience

- Attendance at Bløm Meadworks and awareness of this newer business and its location/community involvement
