What Makes Your Hive Thrive? is an arts engagement project for students, families, and community members in the Ann Arbor Public schools and surrounding areas. The project is a partnership with The Main St. Area Association of downtown Ann Arbor, Bløm Meadworks, and Community Action Network Art & Design, in conjunction with the Ann Arbor Public School’s annual celebration of Youth Art Month.

The project is a partnership with The Main St. Area Association of downtown Ann Arbor, Bløm Meadworks, and Community Action Network Art & Design, in conjunction with the Ann Arbor Public School’s annual celebration of Youth Art Month.
The hive is a temporary art installation and a series of art workshops held at Bløm Meadworks in downtown Ann Arbor throughout the month of March 2019. The installation is aimed at all members of the community, and asks participants to answer what they bring to their community, or “what makes their hive thrive?”. The community workshop will take place Saturday March 16th, 2019 from 1:00 to 3:00 pm at Bløm Meadworks, 100 S 4th Ave #110, Ann Arbor, MI 48104.
