Seizure First Aid

People who have Epilepsy usually have a Seizure Action Plan in case of a seizure.  Some people need to take emergency medications when experiencing a seizure.  According to the Epilepsy Services of New Jersey,  "1 out of 10 people may have a seizure during his or her lifetime. That means seizures are common, and one day you might need to help someone during or after a seizure."  Epilepsy Services of New Jersey provides this Seizure First Aid poster with the acronym TRUST.  These are the steps to take if you are with someone who is experiencing a seizure.
