Seizures are usually depicted on television shows or movies with a person convulsing on the floor, but epilepsy is so much more than that. For my Girl Scout Gold Award Project, I wanted to share what it is like living with Epilepsy. Epilepsy is not something to hide or be ashamed of and I want my friends and teammates to be aware of what I live with every day. I also wanted to make Seizure First Aid more known.

According to Epilepsy New Jersey, Epilepsy is the 4th most common neurological problem behind migraine, Alzheimer's disease, and stroke. In 2015, there were 3.4 million people with Epilepsy nationwide.
