As Jakeman1 said, log into Google Play from a computer (or request the desktop version from a mobile device). On the left, click Apps. Then underneath that, click My Apps. Just to the right of that, click the drop-down next to All Apps and you can see what apps have been downloaded by device. You also can assign nicknames for the devices via the Settings (the gear in the upper right-hand corner).

Good to know, but I now have a question on this. I don't understand how Google Play would know what devices I should (or should not) have access or visibility of. Would my children be able to see my apps? Can I see my ex-husbands apps???

You can give third-party apps different levels of access to your Google Account like basic account information and to view or modify your account data. If you authorize a third-party app access to manage your Google Account data, they can edit, create, and delete data in your Google Account. When you authorize access to your account, you can find the type of access that the third-party app requests for, on access that third-parties can have.

You can control which apps can access and use your device's location and when. For example, you could let Google Maps use your device's location to give you driving directions, but not share your location with a game or social media app.

@wexy - Can't believe I forgot to try Geoshred. Thanks for this tip. I gotta test it ASAP.

Agreed, @duncank. I wish it was so. I'm glad some apps are getting support, even if it's a slow process.

Thanks, @Gravitas. I wish Novation made an app on iOS to map their controllers easily. Ah well. Keep up the great work.

@YZJustDatGuy - Yeah, Beatmaker integration is packed. I might actually need my Novation Launch key AND Launchpad for it, haha.

In addition to the Interactive Whiteboard app, a variety of Promethean Classroom Essential apps are included with the ActivPanel interactive display. The Annotate app allows writing and highlighting over any content displayed on the ActivPanel. Screen Capture snaps an image of what is displayed on the panel and allows cropping and saving of the image. The captured image may also be opened in the Whiteboard app for instructional use. The customizable Spinner and Timer apps add excitement to any classroom interactive display lesson activities. The Promethean Screen Share app allows you to quickly connect and mirror any web-connected device and lends itself perfectly to classroom collaboration and student-driven learning.

This shows which apps have permission to use the camera and when they last used it as Last accessed xxxxx. It will also show it is currently being used as Currently in use. The list is divided into "Store Apps" and "Desktop Apps"

Unfortunately, you can't necessarily rely on the contents of this screen. By virtue of their nature, desktop apps are able to access your camera hardware directly, bypassing Windows' regular APIs. This means that a malicious app could stream your camera feed without notifying Windows, so it won't show up in the list. Generally, most respectable programs will appear here, but Microsoft's own documentation warns of the possibility that some won't.

Philips NetTV offers well known and popular apps like Netflix, Vudu, and YouTube and through the VEWD application platform allows you customize the apps you prefer by choosing from a wide selection. While apps can be incredibly helpful, over the years of using different productivity and learning apps, I've realised that more productivity apps do not mean more productivity. Some of the most popular apps for learning are terrible at actually facilitating learning.

Android is a great mobile operating system that keeps me constantly in the know. With a notification system that ensures I don't miss a beat, I can be sure that very little slips by me. However, I do not need notifications from every single app I have installed. In fact, the more apps that send notifications to me, the more likely it will be that I'll miss out on something important.

At this point, you'll see a long list of installed apps. Most of these apps should have notifications enabled. The only reason an app might have notifications disabled is that you were allowed to disable them during the app installation.

One thing to keep in mind about this is that if you find yourself missing out on certain notifications, you can always go back and re-enable any app necessary. I tend to go with only the apps I know I absolutely need to receive notifications from. If it's not a necessity, it's disabled. Don't hesitate to play around with this to find the sweet spot for you.

Members also use a variety of apps for iOS and Android devices. For iOS, Voice Dream Reader, Read2Go, iBooks, Dolphin EasyReader, and Capti Voice are popular. For Android, Go Read, Voice Dream Reader, and Dolphin EasyReader are popular.

Joanna: thanks for your question. Bookshare does not specify a standalone device, but does work with a wide variety of devices such as tablets and laptops that offer parental controls. Our reading tool wizard can help you identify apps by device and platform that your child can use to read Bookshare books. -tool-wizard

Last year, with iOS 13, Apple introduced a new setting that lets an app use your location data only once. With the introduction of iOS 14, the company has made a change to let you give out an approximate location to apps.

To improve access to UFApps and related services like UFApps for Research, we are implementing a new login gateway for accessing your available apps and desktops. The URL for the new login gateway is We will migrate all of the existing services to the new login gateway over the next several weeks.

With all the talk of cloud and offline and if you need internet to access your docs, I thought of one more thing. Make sure your files are accessible if you loose or damage your phone! iPhotos are saved to your account in the cloud, apps like Dropbox or kindle or google drive also do this, as does email. Which is good - if your phone is unusable for any reason you can access your account on another device and have your photos and documents. For example you can log into a google account from a public computer and access your files and email there. Saving directly to your phone without backup could be more of a problem in case of a lost phone.

This downturn was partially offset by a skyrocketing number of new app downloads. In 2022, new apps were downloaded 255 billion times, translating into 11% year-over-year growth. This figure means that users are still open to new experiences and services.

Individual categories set new milestones for what is financially possible in the market. According to the State of Mobile 2023 report, six app categories have snatched leadership in terms of consumer spending. Video streaming, dating, short video and video sharing, book, music, and audio apps were the highest-ranking categories, seizing over 50% of consumer spending.

The US market accounts for over a fourth of social app consumer spending, generating over $2 billion from worldwide spending of over $7 billion. The popularity and growth of this category are also the direct result of new app installs surging 15% year-over-year, including a 25% growth in China.

2022 also marked the ascent of new markets outside the big three (US, China, and Japan). Spending in those markets climbed to almost 40%, compared to 30% in 2019. Overall, global spending on social apps increased three times from 2019 to 2022.

As for microtrends, live video streaming apps and short video apps are the two types of social apps that make the most money. Also, new media-sharing networks such as BeReal and LiveIn made a powerful step to claim victory in the category, although their prospects are still unclear.

The US, Chinese, and Korean markets stand behind this spending growth, having one of the most saturated OTT landscapes. For instance, spending on entertainment apps in the US hit a record $4 billion in 2022, more than double the amount in 2019.

Also, OTT apps now tend to attract impressive amounts of ad dollars. According to the State of OTT Advertising in the U.S. 2023 report, almost 15% of total digital ad spending occurs on OTT platforms, including Hulu, Pluto TV, Tubi, Peacock, and Paramount+.

Home to popular entertainment services from Pixar and more, Disney+ is available in 59 countries. The geographical span translates into 12.1 million subscribers, with a total number of paid subscriptions generating 164.2 million in revenue in 2022. Moreover, exclusive releases and the global audience place it among the most profitable mobile apps in the entertainment category.

2022 was a strong year for dating applications. Globally, consumer spending on dating apps reached 12% year-over-year and 91% compared to pre-pandemic spending, coming near a record $6 billion. Canada, Mexico, India, and the UK saw the largest growth rates. Markets seeing the strongest year-over-year growth in 2022 include Canada, Mexico, India, and the UK.

Global downloads of these apps also set a record in 2022, with 1.9 billion first-time installations. The top three dating apps, Tinder, Bumble, and Hinge, have remained unchanged since 2021, while Wizz topped the ladder as the most popular social discovery app in 2022. ff782bc1db
