In this standard you will use skills to solve probability questions. A lot of the skills will be the same as the ones you used in probability methods at Level 2, however, this year you will not be told which skill you should use.
Note: It is possible to solve many of the problems using different probability techniques and as long as your methods is statistically valid it will be accepted.
Use tree diagrams to solve problems

Use Venn diagrams to solve problems
Use conditional probability
Be able to identify and reason why if evens are independent
Be able to identify and reason why if evens are mutually exclusive
Understand and explain the difference between theoretical probability, experimental probability and true probability
