Winter Finance Summit in Asia 2027
March 1 (Mon) - 4 (Thu), 2027
(Monday evening reception through Thursday morning session)
Appi Resort, Iwate, Japan
Following the outstanding success of the past two years, we are pleased to announce the third edition of this boutique academic conference. The summit will feature state-of-the-art research presentations in finance and real estate finance through a single-track format over three intensive days. Our intimate scale and exceptional location create an ideal environment for meaningful scholarly exchange and in-depth discussions.
The conference will be held at ANA Crowne Plaza Resort APPI Kogen in Iwate Prefecture, northern Japan, approximately 3.5 hours from Tokyo Station by train and bus. Located at the base of Japan's Best Ski Resort (World Ski Awards 2022 & 2023), the venue offers 21 world-class slopes for skiing and snowboarding, as well as traditional open-air hot springs—perfect for relaxation between sessions.
Mid-February to early March provides optimal powder snow conditions, and attendees will have the opportunity to explore the nearby city of Morioka, which ranked 2nd on The New York Times' 2023 travel list.
