Welcome Blue Dukes Swim and Dive Team
Welcome to the 2026-2027 Whitefish Bay High School Boys Swim/Dive Season! We are building off of an amazing season, where the team was crowned WIAA Division 2 State Champions! In addition to winning it all, the boys were able to break 2 school relay records, 1 WFB pool relay record, and two individual school records. Although we graduated a lot of impactful seniors, I have no doubt that our returning and new swimmers will be able to build upon the momentum and success from last season.
Our first practice will take place Monday, November 16th from 4:00-6:00pm at the WFBHS pool. We are a no-cut team, so anyone is welcome to join us for the first practice, but please be sure to complete the necessary registration paperwork (below) before the first practice to ensure your swimmer/diver is able to get in the water from Day 1.
I have updated the website as best I can to include this season’s practice and meet schedule (found under the “Calendar” tab), highlight important events like the parent meeting and senior/parent night (found under the “Events” tab), as well as information for registration (found under the “Athletes” tab, but also below). As I am writing this, I am not-so-patiently awaiting the arrival of my first child, due sometime in September. Because of that, I will be slightly limited in my communication. Please don’t hesitate to reach out, but do pardon my slower response time.
The following registration items can be taken care of using your Skyward account:
1. Enroll for school, sign up for swim /dive team and pay $175 Athletic Fee (One athlete)
2. Physical Card (Or Alternate Year Form) **
3. Athletic Code Signed
4. Insurance Forms
**If you are an incoming freshman, or last had a physical prior to April 1, 2025, you will need to have a physical examination. If neither situation applies to you, you will simply need to fill out the Physical Alternate Year Form.
The following items do not require your Skyward account:
1. Download the Remind app. Parents and Athletes find the class code @wfbbsd2627 and request to join. This will be how I primarily communicate information like schedule changes, meet lineups, and meet results.
2. Fill out the Parent/Athlete Info Form (above) so that I have contact information for both athletes and parents/guardians. If you are unsure of suit size, that’s ok, but please make a note that you’re not certain. Unlike other sports where uniforms are returned, swimsuits are paid for by parents and kept after the season. Last year suits were $48 each and I’d expect something similar for this year.
We will be having a Family and Parent meeting on Tuesday, November 24th @ 5:45pm in the WFBHS Link (next to the pool, across from the Field House). This will be a chance for parents to meet coaches, provide a breakdown of our season, and work with your wonderful families to help coordinate many of our team events. This will ensure we have a great communication system so your success is our utmost priority! Feel free to bring any questions or concerns you may have to this meeting.
The following equipment will ensure success for swimmers this season
Required: Goggles, Suit, caps (provided), kickboard (provided), pull buoy (provided), water bottle, short fins (some available at the pool daily, but I’d recommend buying a pair)
Optional, but strongly urged: Training paddles, snorkels
As I said, please pardon my slower response time as I navigate life with a newborn. I am so excited for this upcoming season! If you have any questions, never hesitate to reach out to me.
