Weynilo (“we”, “our”, or “us”) operates the Weynilo mobile application (the “App”) for language learning in Tigrinya and Amharic. Your privacy is important to us. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our App.

Account Information: When you create an account or log in through Supabase, we collect your email address and authentication data.
Usage Data: We collect non-personal information about how you use the App (e.g., lessons completed, progress, and in-app interactions).
Advertising Data: We use Google AdMob to display rewarded ads. AdMob may collect device identifiers and performance data to show relevant ads.
Device Data: We may collect device type, operating system, and anonymous analytics data to improve performance.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to:
Provide and maintain the App’s functionality.
Track learning progress and achievements.
Deliver rewarded ads and manage rewards.
Improve and personalize user experience.
Communicate with you about updates or technical issues.
3. Sharing of Information
We do not sell your personal information.
We may share limited data with:
Service Providers: Supabase (authentication, database) and Google AdMob (advertising).
Legal Authorities: If required by law or to protect our rights and users.
4. Data Retention
We retain your data as long as your account is active. You may request deletion by emailing weynilodev@outlook.com. Upon deletion, your profile, progress, and authentication data will be permanently removed from Supabase.
5. Children’s Privacy
Weynilo is safe for users of all ages. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13 without parental consent.
6. Security
We take reasonable measures (encryption, authentication controls, RLS policies in Supabase) to protect your data. However, no system is 100% secure.
7. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may:
Access, correct, or delete your data.
Withdraw consent to data processing.
Request a copy of your personal information.
