We Were in VR is an unofficial mod that (re-)introduces a VR mode to the game We Were Here. It aims to be the definitive way to experience We Were Here in Virtual Reality.

Known Issues
These issues are currently known and I'm working on fixing them:
Doors sometimes don't open on the first try -> Temporary fix: Try pressing grip and wigggling your hand around the door until it finally opens... I have absolutely no idea why the doors are so wonky right now....
FAQ
Help, I'm too small/ and can't reach certain things -> Fix: You can either use the jump button(default: Left controller thumbstick click), the companion tool to offset your height or use external software such as OVR Advanced Settings
I'm getting motion sick -> The game is not really recommended for people who easily get motion sickness as there are absolutely no comfort options available (yet).
I can't move ingame -> Please make sure that you don't have a gamepad or a second vr headset connected. While this game does not use OpenXR please also check that you've correctly set your OpenXR runtime(e.g. set Oculus/Meta as default OpenXR runtime if you own a an Oculus/Meta VR headset and are not using Virtual Desktop/ALVR; SteamVR if you own an HTC Vive, Valve Index, Quest connected via Virtual Desktop, ALVR or any other software that bypasses the Oculus/Meta client; WMR if you own a WMR headset, etc.). If none of that helped just restart your pc. This is a known bug but I have no idea why it's happening.
