7th Grade
7th Grade
Thank you for allowing me to be part of the Westview school family. This is my third year in Pflugerville ISD, and I am excited to serve as the 7th Grade School Counselor for the 2026–2027 school year. My passion has always been working with children. During college, I served as a Young Life leader and worked as a counselor at several Christian summer camps. I have been in education for 29 years, serving students and families in Lago Vista ISD, Bryan ISD, College Station ISD, Austin ISD, and Round Rock ISD. This is my 15th year as a school counselor, and I still love coming to school each day.
Throughout my career, I have had the opportunity to serve in many roles, including elementary classroom teacher, middle school teacher, coach, PE teacher, dyslexia specialist, special education teacher, and assistant principal. These experiences have strengthened my passion for supporting students academically, socially, and emotionally.
I graduated from Texas A&M University with a Bachelor of Science degree — Whoop! Gig ’em, Aggies! I also earned dual master’s degrees in Guidance and School Counseling and Mental Health and Wellness Counseling from Angelo State University. Recently, I completed my licensure requirements and became a Licensed Professional Counselor. I am currently pursuing a doctorate in Biblical Psychology and Counseling.
It is truly an honor to serve the students, families, and staff of Westview. I feel blessed to work in such an amazing school district.
Go Wildcats!
