Thank you for allowing me to be apart of the Westview school family. This is my second year in Pflugerville ISD and I will serve as the 6th Grade school counselor for the 2025-2026 school year. Before joining the Westview team I was a school counselor in Bryan ISD and Austin ISD for one year and 10 years in Round Rock ISD.  My passion is working with children and has been for years.  In college I was a Young Life leader and worked at several Christian summer camps as a counselor.  I have been in education the past 28 years, working in Lago Vista ISD, Bryan ISD, College Station ISD, Austin ISD and Round Rock ISD. This is my 14th year as a school counselor and daily I love coming to school!  I have worn a variety of hats in education as an elementary classroom teacher, middle school teacher, coach, PE teacher, dyslexia specialist, special education teacher, and assistant principal.  I graduated from Texas A& M University with a Bachelor of Science, Whoop Gig’em Aggies!  I have obtained dual master degrees: Guidance and School Counseling and Mental Health and Wellness Counseling, both from Angelo State University.  Currently I am working on the required 3,000 hours to became a LPC (Licensed Professional Counselor).   In the pictures above are my two precious girls, our dog Balto and me swimming with a dolphin over the summer.  It is an honor to serve you.  I am blessed to work in such an amazing school district.  Go Wildcats!
